Dear Team,
my mother along with me had submitted policy bond no[protected], in the month of Aug in your civil lines office to desk officer MR nasine, we had also submitted a request letter for payment of last due amount of 5000 which was unpaid by lic due to incorrect bank details.
1] we submitted bond paper for taking final maturity.
2] we submitted letter for bank detail updation for payment of last due amount .
3] i have specifically asked for receipt but was denied stating apka kaam ho jayega rasid ka zarurat nahee
we got the payment of 5000 in our bank account on 06/09/2015, which was long due, and we were confident that again in a 2-3 days time we would received final maturity amount, on non receipt of the same my father inquired in lic office and was told that your policy bond has been lost in transit .
my father was surprised and to much of his agony he was also told to submit a affidavit for loss of policy and pay 200 rupees,
my father and my mother[ policy holder are senior citizen] and lic has no right to loose the document and ask for affidavit from the customer where he is not at fault .
request you to issue the maturity amount of the above mention policy immediately in the registered bank account of my mother with PNB,
pls take this as a final written complaint post which if no satisfactory action is taken we would be forced to take this up with IRDA and consumer forum .
This is a case of deficiency of service my LIC and the partied to it are senior citizen lady which is being physically and mentally harassed and the funds to be paid are overdue with lic without any interest.
request your urgent action and reply .
