Life Insurance Corporation of India [LIC] — customer portal is down

I live in the uae and have been trying to log into the customer portal for the past 3 days and am unable to login. I thought the issue was with my laptop and so tried on different machines with the same problem. I could not find anything on lic website that there was any problem and so i finally called the call center.

The call center agent tells me that the problem has been there for the past 3 days and it would take another 3 to 4 days!!! I cannot believe that a company the size of lic with the resources at its disposal needs 5 to 6 days to fix website and or payment gateway issues. I am from it myself and this is quite unacceptable.

Can you please advise when your customer portal is going to be online?
