I had requested dept for checking meter no installed for my house and paid rs.2, 950/- for the same on 27/03/2018.
On 20/04/2018, temporary meter installed by the dept was removed without connected another meter by 12.00 noon approx, without informing me. I noticed this late night at around 8.00 p. M, when i went to elect room to find out the reason for non supply of electricty. I logged my complaint on toll free number and complaint no was 8251158. They could not give the reasons for removal of meter. They also gave me another land line number, which did not respond to my numerous call. We all could not sleep through out night.in the morning i called ms kulkarni in-charge of n. Wadia section on her mobile at around 8-30 a. M (Sorry for causing inconvenience to her) and she was kind enough to ask for consumer number. Since nothing happened i visited her office at 10.00 a. M and waited till 11.00 a. M to find out reasons for removal of meter and not connecting new meter. She infromed me that she had called me abou 2 days back on my mobile to inform me about testing of meter, but since i did not respond, she had no alternate, but to disconnect temporary meter as per rules of elect dept. How do i know that the call was from elect dept? Dept should have sent sms. I do not find any logic in this reason of not providing old/new meter without my consent. I request the dept to change their rules and to send sms instead of calling the party. The connection was restored on 21.4.2018 at around 11.30 a. M i. E after approx 23 hours and sleepless night for 3 senior citizens of 77 yrs and above Was this information helpful? |
