I am writing to bring to your attention a serious issue I have been facing for over a year now, with the MSEDCL Board and the officers at the Chalisgaon division. My account number is[protected].
Initially, my electricity meter developed a fault, prompting me to request a new meter. I paid a sum of INR 5000 for the replacement, only to receive another old meter. Within a span of 5 to 6 months, the replaced meter also malfunctioned, leading me to pay another INR 5000 for a new meter. Yet again, I was provided with an old meter. To add to the woes, this meter was not activated for two months during which I received arbitrary bills. When the meter was finally activated on the third month, it calculated all the previous plus current readings, and the arbitrary readings from the inactive period, resulting in an exorbitantly high electricity bill.
This entire experience has been extremely distressing and financially burdening. The apathy and mismanagement displayed by the concerned officials at the Chalisgaon division have caused me and my family undue hardship. It's disheartening to see such a lack of duty and understanding from a reputable organization like MSEDCL. every month my unit consumtion is just 50 unites but because of their lack of efforts i got around 171 unites
I earnestly request an immediate investigation into this matter. I am also seeking a significant reduction in my electricity bill, bringing it down to a reasonable amount of INR 1, 500 to 2, 000.
