My address is in Pune Camp, Center Street. It so happened that today i.e. 7th Mar 2022 MSEB employee from JJ Garden section without informing disconnected the connection of entire building.
Repeated request to section engineer felt on deaf ears. Infact section engineer is not having knowledge of even checking the status of pending or paid bill and falsely insisted that the bill was unpaid even after sending over the proofs of paid bill. At one point she even threatened me further action as regards the connection.
Employees in the office refused to even check the paid bills and entertain any complaint as regards the disconnection.
We are forced to stay in the dark because of error on the part of MSEB people and their high handedness towards the consumers.
For past some months there is continuous threat from MSEB as regards disconnection of meter on very next day of the due date even when excess amount is charged for delay in payment.
These threats are to consumers who more or less pay bill mostly on time or a day here or there whereas the consumers who really default are not targeted by MSEB. there are 4 to 5 employees who do the rounds threatening the consumers as regards the bill payment and their language is as though they are dealing with terrorist.
Really ashamed to see pathetic service and high handedness by the MSEB.
Would request the board to take appropriate action against the section engineer lest I would be forced to take the matter judicially.
