While travelling from shirur to ahmednagar through "dapoli - shirdi" bus of "dapoli" depot on 31/12/2016, this incident was happened.
I paid rs.200/- for a bus fair of rs.128/- where by conductor of the bus asked me for the change of rs.30/-. As there was no change with me, he asked me to make a provision for change when the will halt at a private hotel. Accordingly i managed for a change of rs.30/- which i provided to the conductor & he returned me rs.100/- back. When i asked him for a refund of rs.2/-, again he told me that he was not having the change & he will provide the remaining rs.2/- only after getting some other passenger till the time my stop comes. I. E. If there was no change with him till the stop comes, i have to get down without the refund of rs.2/-. But i insisted on refund of my rs.2/- which resulted in bad seen where by the behaviour of the conductor was like that i was a beggar, asking him to beg rs.2/-. The conductor indirectly asking me to forget of rs. 2/- by giving examples of passengers of pune & mumbai cities which according to him do not bother for such a "chhilar" money.
He also told me that as the bus does not belong to his family, he is not responsible for the refund of the rs.2/- i. E. The passengers in such cases have to approach the msrtc.
In fact the conductor managed for the change within minutes after the hassle but the language used by the conductor, his behaviour towards me was insulting & humiliating.
This incidence i have logged in the log book of the "tarakpur" depot, ahmednagar immediately after getting down at my stop.
As the drivers & conductors of msrtc bus are the front face & representatives of the organisation the behaviour directly effects the organisation i. E. Msrtc.
Hope msrtc will understand my agony & grievance & will take appropriate steps in future to avoid such incidences.
