I had booked ticket onlinefrom pandarpur to kolhapur on 28/01/19
Travel date: 29/1/19
Ticket number: 36212590
Boarding time :6.40 pm
Please note the reason for pre booking was, i was travelling with my aged parents and wife and wanted the trip to be comfortable for them
The experience turned out to be totally opposite, infact turned out to be a harrasment
I was there with my family at the bus depot sharp 6 pm
We kept waiting till 6.40 and went to the enquiry desk twice by 7. Pm. The enquiry desk representatives told us to keep waiting at platform 24.
At 7 pm a bus came following the solapur-kolapur route. The driver and the conductor both denied service and said the ticket is not valid for their bus as the bus left solapur at 5 pm while as per our ticket we are supposed to board a bus departing from solapur at 5.30 pm and our bus will come by 7.30 pm.
The bus departed, we kept waiting till 7.30 pm and in the mean while again went to the enquiry desk. The team there was rude, they stopped answering us untill we raised our voice, it was humiliating and disheartening. Representatives at help desk told us to wait as the bus will be coming in some time it is late.
By 8 we tried to contact the msrtc customer helpline who shared the solapur bus depot number with us. The information that we got from there was even more disappointing, we were told there is no bus scheduled at 5.30 from solapur.
I had to educate the enquiry team about the wrong information and then there was again an irresponsive attitude i had to face, when i talked to the helpline again the head representative agreed upon validating the ticket for 9.30 pm bus and then after some time there was a response "you cannot catch the 9.30 bus, you can go by the 11.30 bus"
My trust my patience has given up, my parents had to face difficulty, i have been given a wrong ticket on booking the same from a government website.
Loosing all hopes i did not take bus facility and booked a train ticket.
The tarin tickets and the bus tickets are attached with the mail.
Consider this mail to be a feedback / complaint. Ticket booked has no information about the bus number to be boarded which leaves passenger like us helpless, and wrong information about bus schedules is not acceptable when there is prepaid service.
I want the refund for the money i have spent on bus tickets at the earliest. Please assist.
