On the night of 21st September, I contacted Maid It Easy for domestic help services. I was promptly contacted by Ms. Disha, who assured me that multiple maid profiles would be shared for my selection and that services would commence by 9 AM the next morning.
As a pre-condition, I paid the non-refundable registration fee. Immediately upon receiving the payment, Ms. Disha became unresponsive. When contacted again, she demanded an additional commission equivalent to one month’s salary of the maid. Despite my reservations, I complied and transferred the amount in good faith.
Following this, the agency insisted I sign an agreement—assuring me that services would begin promptly. However, after this point, there has been complete silence from Maid It Easy. None of the contact numbers provided work, and Ms. Disha has failed to respond to any calls or messages.
This conduct amounts to misrepresentation and breach of contractual obligations. Further, the agency has deleted all customer feedback from its social media page, which points to a pattern of misleading and fraudulent behavior.
I demand immediate redressal:
A full refund of the commission amount, as explicitly promised in case of non-provision of services.
A written response from the agency explaining this lapse.
Failure to address this matter will compel me to pursue remedies under the Consumer Protection Act, including but not limited to filing a complaint with the Consumer Forum and reporting this fraud to relevant authorities.
I urge Maid It Easy to act responsibly and resolve this issue without further delay.
