Malabar Hill Police Station — dereliction of duty by mumbai police officer of malabar hill police station

Address:Mumbai City, Maharashtra, 400026

I called mumbai police control room at 14:56 hrs today. The police control room passed my call to malabar hill police station. Till 15:30 hrs no one came to attend my complaint of the nuisance and noise in the building coming from the terrace flat on 4th floor above my flat. I also inquired with the police officer at malabar hill police station at 15:30 hrs after being told by police control room that the police station has despatched vehicle. A lady constable with an accomplice ccame to my house at around 16:15 hrs and told me that the security guard informed her bathroom work is going on in the flat. Though i informed the police officer and the police constable who visited my house, illegal work is going on since years in the said flat on the terrace of the flat, they did not listen to me. Then she went to the flat and came down and told me some plumbing work is going on in the said flat. The constable even brought a labourer/supervisor working in the said flat down to my flat. It is evident that the police constables, police officers and mumbai police control room are hand in glove with the people who want to do illegal work in the flats of maheshwari mansion. Rooms, kitchen and bathrooms are buiilt illegally on the terrace of flat 32 on 4th floor in c-wing of maheshwari mansion and the lady officer of malabar hill police station is mute spectator and guilty of dereliction of duty. If the building collapses due to the massive illegal construction going on in the said flat and in the residential building which is more than 80 years old then malabar hill police station officers should be held responsible.

On 27th November, I called the Police Control Room at 14:56 hrs and Malabar Hill Police Station at 15:30 hrs and informed them about the noise coming from the terrace of flat 33 in C-Wing. A lady constable from Malabar Hill Police Station came to my house alongwith a labourer from flat 33 and told me that he is doing plumbing work. She did not take the labourer to the Police Station before the Duty Officer. I again called the Police Control Room at 16:13 hrs and at 17:08 hrs and informed the Police Control Room about the lady police officer's visit and also told them that the noise had not stopped. I also told the Duty Officer at Malabar Hill Police Station that the labourer should have been taken to the Police Station before him and not to my flat before me. Then three police constables came and took the Security Guard of 'C' Wing and two labourers from flar 33 to Malabar Hill Police Station. One constable came to my house and told me that they are taking the labourers to the Police Station and getting the work stopped. Yesterday and even today the labourers are working on the terrace of flat 33. I also came to know that the Security Guard who was taken to the Police Station was given slaps at the Police Station. It is very very dangerous to live in my flat below. There are wide cracks in every room, kitchen, passage and bathrooms of my flat. When I showed the lady constable the deep cracks in the ceiling of my balcony, she said they are due to rain.
