I was taken to Manipal Hospital Located in ITPL road, Whitefield on night of 22nd Jan 2024 around 12pm with complaints of polypharmacy (due to personal stress) by one of my friends .
I was semi-conscious and in shock because of overdose and was brought in an ambulance. I had a horrendous time and would like to complaint against the doctor and the night manager who was stationed that night . I sincerely hope i get a response and would strongly recommended cancelling tthe license of the doctor to avoid doing it again to other patients .
1) The Doctor ( i don't know her name) stationed that night in the emergency department treated me very badly like a rowdy and forced a tube into my nose against my will violating my "right to consent"2) When my friend who brought me to the hospital objected, he was threatened and the doctor refuse to treat me saying she is not bothered about whatever happens to me, clear violation of code of ethics for any doctor : "refusal to treat the patient"3) The doctor and her assistant then slapped me very hard to make me co-operate leaving me with bulged face even now . this violates my "right to respect" 4)They simply gave no choice for us but to take DAMA and get to another hospital
Iam eagerly awaiting a response from your side and formal fair closure . There as also another patient on the same night with a very bad treatment and i have their contact details if you need .
I hope proper attention is given to this mail and the high reputation of the hospital is upheld . Iam sure this will only be a outlier and will not reflect the brand principles Was this information helpful? |
