Post my visit to the doctor I stopped at the nurse station and asked her if there was payment due and she checked and said no. I asked her if she was saude and she checked again, and said no.
Post that I received a call from Dr. Sravya, stating that she’s been informed that I am not making the payment, when I shared with her what happened she was polite and said, don’t worry, clear it on your next visit.
Post that I have visited the hospital, three times. I had post surgery appointment with Dr. Sita Rajan, I have met Dr. Sad for patient Rajat Sarki, my mobile is on his profile and then with Dr. Radhika as well.
1) why was I not asked to clear the payment in any of these visits
2) the hospital staff started calling and messaging my husband for the payments, why?
3) the staff shared the attached screenshots with the doctor on the patient profile.
Twice your hospital how had broken the confidentiality for a patient, for 3000 wherein the patient has a payment history with your hospital for 3 years plus now.
This is a serious and legal issue. Whilst one can understand closing of books and recovery, the staff needs to be trained on what can and cannot be shared this casually. It’s a serious breach of trust.
I would like to take up this matter seriously and I expect a proper response on the matter
