I have booked a flat in Mantri Webcity parcel 2. I was promised a completion date of July 2016. Since the project was delayed from the beginning and there was no construction happening for almost one and a half year, we confronted them repeatedly about the completion date in the past 2 years. however, each time we were promised that the project will be completed before 2016. Now, when the promised completion date has already arrived, they have sent us a mail saying the completion date is postponed to 2019, that's almost a delay of 3 years. I am not sure whether they will stick to the new deadline as they have failed to stick to the promises they have made in many other aspects.
Also, the agreement mentioned a payment fo Rs. 3 per sqft per month in case of delay. we tried to talk to the customer relationship manager, Mr. Umesh CV, regarding this and even sent many emails. but, he is evading us. he does not pick up our call and is not responding to the emails as well. also, when we spoke to the manager, he only promsies to get back to us and never does. We are in a soup now. We have planned our child's education and finances based on the promised completion date. Now, we are unable to take any decisions. And this is causing lot of mental stress for us. We expect a compensation from Mantri developer, the so-called A list builders, for the delay as promised in the agreement and also for the loss we have to face due to the problems the delay has caused for us.
My sincere request to all investors to not get fooled by the promises Mantri makes to you as they are expert in it. The only problem they do not keep the promises. They are no better than the C grade builders. Booking a flat with Mantri means paying more to get the same or the worse than what C grade builders are providing. Was this information helpful? |
