Max Hospital — delay in getting biopsy report

This is to inform you that my son, aditya thokchom, 15 year old, had got an artificial tumour, upper lip, removed by dr. Sumeet shah, on 25th august, at max hospital saket, and a sample was taken for biopsy, asking us to get the report in 4/5 days. We have been going for the report every few days but the answer is always ‘it’s pending’. It’s been more than 25 days, and just a few days back, told us to bring the patient along. Why is it necessary to show the patient to get the biopsy report? Has the report been lost? And why weren’t we informed to bring the patient earlier?
