Max Hospital — Exorbitant bill amount charged | |
I visited max hospital, mohali on 22.08.2020 after being reffered by cghs dispensary sec 45. Patient was my wife and she had pain in her feet so i booked an appointment with dr. Vikram lahoria (Dermatologist). After examination he explained that there is a corn in her feet so he need to to some quick treatment so called parring, which is just removal of corn and it took only 10 minutes to remove it. My complaint is about the bill amount charged for the treatment (So called parring) of rs. 637.20 (Including gst) which is non reimbursable as not in the cghs rate list. The same treatment is given in cghs rate list as excision of corn and amount is rs 140 (Non nabh) 161 (Nabh). By just changing the name of treatment the hospital charge exorbitant charges which is not fair. I also complaint to the hospital staff (Mr. Vinod saklani) but they just circumlocuted the matter. You are requested to look into the matter as early as possible. Patient name:- ms.
