MAX(LANDMARK GROUP) — Did not provide the freebie item on purchase bill of Rs3000

Today I purchased clothes from Max Outlet, Inorbit Mall, Pune and my bill was around Rs3700. After having paid my bill when I was showing bill to the guard at the exit point, he told us about the scheme that on a bill of Rs3000 and above a gift item was being given. On hearing this I went back to the billing counter asking about my free gift, which they gave finally without even saying sorry or feeling any guilt for having skipped the part where a freebie is given by them on their own and not having to ask them for it. Mr.Mukund was the cashier at the billing counter. Point is that you don't ever forget taking the exact amount of bill the customer owes to you, but when it comes to treating the customer right, you act as per your convenience...Way to go Max...you have a long way to learn about customer relationship and ethics!! P.S Thanks to the Guard at the checkpoint we did not miss our Free* Gift.
