Mescom — Excess amount asked to pay

Myself has taken the apartment on rent and paid 4973 on 20.04.2020 though I have stayed for few days in March. Later on I found that an excess amount Of Rs3067 has been Paid. This can be verified online. Later on when the owner visited the staff told to pay Rs. 2867 despite this is excess amount. This may be the staff may have not seen the minus mark. Now the owner has paid Rs.2900 and excess amount showing online -5767. The owner is arguing that this the amount outstanding and not refunding the security. This has happened due to wrong information given by the Mescom Staff. I request you to refund the excess amount and confirm the details to me to enable me to get my security from the owner.
