Mit School Of Distance Education [Sde] — Refund of Fees

I have intended to join PGCM and paid an initial amount of 30000 on May 15th 2021. But due to personal reasons decided to cancel the application and notified the admission counsellor on 24th May. After several faield attempts in getting an answer dropped a mail to the official ID on 28th May. During this period between my initila payment and course cancellation, I had only submitted my documents and not signed or confirmed. Even with the enrollment team never confirmed the admission.
On June 3rd when I got in touch with manager I was told refund is not possible as the period b/w payment and cancellation was more than 5 days.

But as per their own website, it is mentioned time period to withdraw application with refund is 15 days after the admission is confirmed.
So does AICTE mention.
