On the 8th of july, i had contacted more around 12:30pm for some items to be delivered to my house as i am 19 years old living alone and can not go out due to the pandemic. I needed the items immediately, but the store only called me in the evening around 7pm regarding the availability of the items in the store. The sales boy was push selling certain items which i refused. Later when they called me regarding the total amount, it was a preposterous amount so i asked them to send me a picture of the bill. To my surprise i saw the items i refused were added in the bill, and the sales boy refused to comply while telling me that the delivery was already out and that i had to pay for everything. I called up the branch store incharge and the person had to say the same thing about the bill. After a spat, i had to cancel the entirety of the order. This was very difficult to deal with since i do not have any other older support by my side and have to manage the entire house alone. I want to bring to the consumer support’s notice this kind of behavior from the essential grocery store supplies in time of need. Was this information helpful? |
