MP Store — Fraudulent sale of coconut copra via justdial fake seller and advance payment scam

On 20th June 2025, I searched for coconut copra on the Justdial app.

The next day, on 21st June 2025, I received a message from the number [protected]. We started chatting, and later had a phone call. The person shared registration documents and a GST number, which made it seem like a genuine business. I still have copies of the documents he sent.

We agreed on a deal for 100 kg of coconut copra at ₹50 per kg, and I paid him an advance of ₹2500 as agreed.
Later, he called again and claimed that ₹2500 wasn't enough — he now demanded a total of ₹5000, and asked me to pay the remaining ₹2500.

When I asked for the shop location, he vaguely claimed to be at a head office in Maharashtra, which seemed fake.

Now, when I ask for a refund, he says he has nothing to do with it, and is refusing to return the money.

I have proof of the chats, calls, payment, and the registration documents he sent.
