I am a resident of Lakshay Homes, Sunny Enclave, Sector 125, Kharar (near Guru Nanak Enclave), and I am writing to bring to your immediate attention a serious issue regarding a group of street dogs in our society.

Over the past few weeks, these dogs have become increasingly aggressive and are now posing a real threat to the safety and peace of the residents here. The situation has worsened significantly, with incidents where the dogs are:

Chasing Rapido, Zomato, and other delivery riders
Scaring residents and making it unsafe to walk outside, especially after 8 PM
Causing people to carry sticks for self-defense out of fear
Barking loudly all through the night, making it extremely difficult for families to sleep
Leaving saliva and waste on staircases, which is highly unhygienic, especially for children who play there
This issue is affecting our daily life, mental peace, and the safety of both adults and children in our society.
We respectfully and urgently request that the Municipal Council of Kharar take immediate action to:

Remove the street dogs from our society premises
Relocate them to a certified shelter or rehabilitation center in a humane and lawful way
Ensure proper inspection and safety measures as per the Animal Birth Control (ABC) Rules and the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act
We are not asking for harm to come to these animals, but the current situation is unsafe and unsustainable for our community.
Please treat this as an urgent public safety concern and arrange for immediate inspection and action. We are happy to support or cooperate in any way required to resolve this matter peacefully and quickly.
