We are living in Mycity Township, near gram Kajali kheda, Kolar Road, Bhopal .
would like to bring to your notice about the problems being faced by the local residents due to the roaming stray dogs. The stray dog problem has increased recently causing a lot of discomfort for the residents.
There has been a noticeable increase in the number of roaming stray dogs in our campus. As a result, there have been a number of accidents involving motorcycles or cars in our area. Some of these dogs are violent . Hence, there is a serious case for the safety of the children who play outside in the evening.
As is the case, the dogs become more active and aggressive at night. There is constant growling and barking in late night causing uneasiness for the residents, especially senior citizens and the night shift workers, causing deprivation of sleep. A few of the dogs look diseased and have the potential to transmit disease including Rabies. The residents have tried to drive these dogs away but without much success.
Hence, I request you to kindly look into the matter and kindly arrange for stray animal catchers to end this problem. A quick response will be highly appreciated.
