Please kindly catch the street dogs in our area which cause problem. We cant able to walk in night hours. Dog and his puppies stays in our street and it barks every one and try to catch if any people crosses the road.

Subject: unauthorized platform encroachments and post corporation raid scenario
Dear sirs'
We are writing to you from h2, gateway apartments, 1st avenue road, thiruvanmiyur, chennai - 600041. We, includes the flat secretary mr. Nd raja, treasurer - mr. Nadhakumar, president - mr. S murugan on behalf of the 18 houses situated inside the h2 flat premises (Gateway apartments).
We would like to bring to your kind notice that the chennai corporation has recently removed the entire unauthorized encroachments (I. E. Shops) which were illegally occupied and built on the sideways of the 1'st avenue road (Which is also called new beach road) platform. This has happened on 05.03.2018 (Monday) and on 19.03.2018 (Monday). Our heartfelt, thanks to the chennai corporation for initiating such bold action now, and thanks to the police department, and tamil nadu electricity board for their support on this matter.
Following this issue, the encroachers (Platform shop keepers) on seeing some of their nearby shops being demolished by the corporation personnel, to avoid their unauthorised property too being taken to task by the corporation personnel, they have immediately shifted their belongings (For e. G. Counter desk, vegetables, compressors, generators, bunk shops, refrigerators, mobile shops) to the nearby flat premises.in this way, their encroachment still persist.
We, flat owners are continuously at loggerheads with the encroachers not to place their belongings inside our flat premises. Some shop keepers have moved on, but some still continue to keep their belongings inside our premises. Despite, even after several polite request, they are unmoved. We have now clearly understood that they are not willing to take away their belongings and move away from this area. We suspect that all these encroachers have planned for a comeback (They are believing that the appropriate authorities will become lethargic and complacent again - within a span of time) and hence they can re-install their respective shops at the same platform, where it was previously occupied.
In the past, there are several occurrences like, the corporation personnel raid these platform shops, subsequently, the shops will be closed only for some time, and then later, within one or two days the shops will be re-opened at the same pedestrian platform again. This has given the platform vendors a wrong confidence against the law.
Considering the amount of time and money exercised by the corporation & police personnel on 05.03.2018 and 19.03.2018, we felt that it should not go futile, and with high social and civil responsibility, we are writing this letter / email to you, which is as follows;
In case, if these shops are allowed to be retained at their previous encroachments, it shall also pave way for a series of following incidences which we have already overheard in this area, which may also happen again.
1. The platform should be used by the people (Pedestrians) who commute by foot. But this has hardly happened for the last 12 years on this 1st avenue road / new beach road, because of these encroached shops. Their platform shop patrons have always parked their vehicles in front of housing board flat's gates, city corporation children's park gate, in front of licensed shops, and sometimes on roads to the commuters utmost distress. There is a government mtc passenger bus which used to travel on this road daily, encroachments like this would have definitely made the bus drivers work difficult. We would like to request the road transport officer to take note of this matter.
2. Fast food shops - there are many number of fast food shops on the platforms of this road. The food prepared here was always unhygienic / unclean and we have heard people (Mostly children) falling sick, after consuming foods at these shops. Indeed, diseases have been spread from these fast food shops. We are sad that the food safety department is not aware of, that there is a school called sri sankara matric higher secondary school which is nearby to these fast food shops. Students regularly come to these shops after school time. These shops have been allowed to operate even after 10 pm in the nights. When someone pass through these platform shops in the night, there is always an unpleasant smell of alcohol circulating out of these roadside shops.in these platforms, explicitly one can see, poor and unhygienic non vegetarian foods like beef, and chicken were used to cook these junk foods.
3. Pest & rodent - it is because of these fast food shops, food waste are generated. These food waste which being generated finally are not disposed through proper ways. We can always see the garbage container displacing an enormous amount of garbage out of the container, on the road. This has become a breeding ground for rodents and mosquitoes, which clearly spreads all sorts of communicable diseases. Stray cattle on roads and stray dogs wandering in these areas are also connected to this issue.
4. Some encroachers, in their platform shops were using small electricity generators, unauthorized electricity lines, air compressors, cooking oil, fluorescent lights (Which distracts bike and car drivers) and unauthorized gas cylinders. Without proper approval, they have been using these equipments all these days. But our concern is the probability of accidents and dangers that may happen to the children in this area.
5. It is because of these footpath shops, there were intruders, strangers roaming around all these areas without being questioned. These strangers can be seen standing in gangs, at the platform shops. Even if they were questioned, they would answer back that they had come for the pavement shop to purchase. We won't be able to distinguish between the common people and people who have a criminal record. We have heard of incidences of thefts in houses, bike theft, laptop theft, petrol being stolen from vehicles frequently, and chain snatching in the neighbourhood. We have also heard people in the neighbourhood, speaking about some incidences on children being kidnapped, and eve teasing on school students and working women that may have happened. We request the appropriate officers to look into this matter, if in case the platform encroachments remerge.
6. Finally, at some instances, we commoners are afraid to engage with these platform shopkeepers, since whenever there are petty disputes, and frictional times between the flat residents and encroachers, the encroachers always represent themselves in groups. And while discussions, they also try to bring strangers for negotiating, who obviously we do not know. We being native to these flats always wanted to go by the law and order. We completely rely on the police department.
7. We also came to know that there are many shops on the road, on the way to the thiruvanmiyur beach (Very close to the seashore), which numbers are increasing day by day. Hence we would also like to highlight these issues, so that these issues could be nipped in the bud, following their due course.
Finally, we humbly request you not to allow these platform shops to re-establish, in front of our apartment one and for all at the pedestrian platforms. Thanks.

I am r k ravi & others, i am paying property tax from 2007. After 2011 they given a new card because of old card filled with data. From that card they mentioned wrong address which is not belongs to me. They have changed my entire address.. Please give me the solution for this.

There are encroachments on the public platform in maharajapuram santanam salai (Griffith road) and the public are unable to use the road. Vehicles are also not able to ply freely. There are shops, small hotels using the place for cooking and making it difficult for the public to use the place. The passengers alighting on mambalam station find it very difficult to cross this place. Request authorities to remove all encroachments on public places and make the road easier for public pedestrians and other traffic

Hi sir im the person staying in pillayar koil 1st street revathipuram urapakkam.in our street there are 4 big dogs and 3 small dogs. They are entering on our house and going upstairs and biting our dresses. It is very difficult and very big problem to us. Please kindly send dog catchers to our street and catch the dogs. Pls it is our kind request.

We stay at annanagar, block z, 5th avenue, annanagar, chennai - 600040. There are so many stray dogs on the streets which makes huge fuss during night and also poses diesese threat for young children.
This disturbance has been ongoing for last six months.
Request if you kindly take necessary and immediate action to resolve this please. 🙏

I am from gandhi street, meenakshi amman nagar, opposite to nathan clinic.in our street there are nearly 7 - 10 street dogs where living. Some dogs are mad at the people who come by bike and they used to chase them and try to bite. But till now 5 peoples got bite from them. So please take immediate step to stop them from bite and safeguard the people from them.

I am from karuneegar street, vadapalani, (Back entry jrk school), chennai 600026 also south sivan koil street are affected areas of street dogs nearly 5 to 10 dogs stray on the road and never go outside during night and early morning. Kindly take action as near by school and wholesale market area affected.

Respected sir, i'm a resident at peravallur near perumbur. We have nearly 5 dogs in our street which cause problems during the night due to which the residents are finding it unsafe. They disturb our neighbourhood during the night and early morning hours. These dogs get to bite whoever passes by our street which is causing another trouble. Please do the needful.

This is with regards to the alandur, madhavapuram north street, where there is a drainage leakage for the past few days. The complaint has been raised to the below numbers multiple times, still no update and nothing has changed here, we have kids and people walking along the road, there are possibilities for diseases to spread. Need emergency attention on this.

We are the people of venkatesh nagar, saligrammam, we are seriously affected by a house in our locality. There is only a lady living in it with more than 10 dogs. She is dumping its waste at the for more of the house and it is seriously affecting us for a period of time. We have already contacted a person from the corporation office by the name mr. Lakshmi narayanan came to that house, but that lady used abusive words on him and he went heart broken, that officer is now retired but we all the people in the street is suffering. Sir, please help us to get rid of that torture and lead a peaceful life...

I am the secretary of kotturgarden residents association. Kotturgardan is ward no 172 of zone 13. Mosquitto menace is very severe. It starts at 6 pm. People are not able to walk in the streets and swamed by mosquittos. Either in park or playground nobody can sit. Senior citizens, children youth studying for exams are badly affected. The canal between kotturpuram railway station and south lock street of kotturpuram is the biggest mosquitto breeding centre. This part of the canal water is murkyer, sluggish and stagnated. The bushes, hycatts blocking the water flow in this canal. Please use the newly procured machine at present nearer to this place near madhya kailash to clean this part of the canal. Please do necessay things to save us from this menace.

Sir/madam,
This is to bring in to your notice about the stray dog menace in our apartment premises. The number of stray dogs have increased steadily in our locality. Moreover these dogs are not vaccinated and they stand as a threat to us as they are many in number. Have tried calling to shelter homes but there's no response. Take remedies to remove the stray dogs.

Dated 08.03.2018 to day in the morning 07.30 am to 09.00am form bardoli to surat three buses were available for surat 01. Local bus mahuva to surat bus no. Gj 18 y 9823 02. Kukarmunda to surat - express and extra bus for ahmedabad - gj18 y 9090. Two buses were already fully with standing passengers but in the extra bus for ahmedabad only one passengers, conductor and driver were travelling. Why should run for extra bus in without festival? When ever it is needed for festival time. Why should not allowed in the extra bus for ahmedabad for gurjarnagari - express pass holder? In extra bus only one passengers allowed? Please reply

Many street dogs are there in income tax office and the multi storied quarters in it campus, nungambakkam. These dogs are running and barking. This is very disturbing. Many officials residing in quarters are complaining as the dogs trying to attack the officials while walking. Many officers have been complaining about them. We wish to take all these dogs from income tax campus.

Dear Sir,
In front of our apartment, there is a public park in between all the garbage got stack up. Municipality sewage puller always refuses to clear the garbage. Please help us in cleaning this garbage through some means.

Hi sir.. Everyone in kaveri street are dumping all garbage right in front of my house and it is causing huge smell and mosquitos ans filthy rubbish is thrown.. I have kids in my house and we are suffering a lot.. I complained already to the madipakkam municipal corporation they said we have taken complaint and it will be cleared. But no one is coming and so much of garbage is thrown.. Can u please help me resolve this issue because municipal corporation in madipakkam kaveri street ram nagar south is not taking any action.. There is no dustbin as well and no one cones to remove the garbage..

I'm a resident of Kilkattalai, Chennai. We are facing continuous problems with street dogs in our streets, close to 10 dogs are always present in this lane, damaging people's vehicle, chasing people and vehicles, continous fighting amongst dogs and troubling residents.there is no birth control done so far & they are multiplying every year upto madipakkam lake.Request to take measures to control these menace and basic birth control needs to be taken care.

I am a resident of new perungalathur, our steert is david nagar and vivek nagar 5th steert (Appartment name :ruby star city). Our steets are not cleaned for past 6 months. Even for clearing the garbage we need to follow up for more than 3 times. Please sweep the streets it appears very dirty. We cant even breathe. Even we cannot make a complaint in chennai corporation since our area is not listed. But we come under chennai pincode. Please let us atleast where should we register a complaint
