Dear team,
We are sad to inform that, we are facing dog menaces in our area (Maduravoyal behind eb office, chennai - 600095). Children and aged persons are scared to walk on road. These stray dogs are also coming inside our apartments and spoil our things like biting our shoes, clothes, etc.
Stray dog menace has reached an alarming stage and our street alone you can find more than 15 – 25 dogs. Basically, dogs are scavengers and open garbage dumps are easy source of food for them. Besides, many residents feed dogs at their door steps. During breeding season, they become quite aggressive and attack passersby. The female does so to protect pups. Kindly take control measures for dogs on regular basis.
Yesterday one dog bite 5 people in which 1 was 2 year old kid. We have already complained to chennai corporation but they give us feedback like they are be warned or fined by blue cross. Chennai corporation is more conscious on blue cross but not about people like us.
