Chennai is a metro city. None believes it is. Like rural villages, they have lot of street dogs on roads. These dogs creates huge problems to the public. They form a group and frightens public who walks on the road. They do even threatens the public. Their population is keep on growing with no control. Many people lost sleep because they keep barking at night. For the kids who plays on the road are prone for getting bitten from these dogs. These street dogs are really dangerous to the society. Some of them are really sick. No one is there to treat them. There are many cities in tamil nadu where street dogs does not exist. As a proud metro city, why chennai municipal corporation has not taken any steps to reduce their population. Dogs are human friendly. They are treated as one of the family in many countries. They treat them well. I beg chennai municipal corporation to find a solution for the street dogs so that public can live safely and happily.

Updated by nandasit Chennai is a metro city where traffic is a big problem. There are some solutions to reduce the traffic on roads. I see most of the roads are occupied by bike parking, street sellers, digged roads, unused muddy roads, etc. The roads need to be widened so that most of the traffic can be reduced.in order to widen the road, government has to take a immense measures to widen the roads. Always government should think of futuristic perspective. 5 years from now, the population will be more. More the people, more the traffic. The roads should be built to handle more than 10 years without traffic. Most of the roads are digged for drainage pipeline and never ever closed properly. On this road, there are many drainage areas which needs to be closed for public safety. Safety is always first. It is responsibility of the government to insist safety and do safety measures to save people. Please think of futuristic and widen the roads to avoid traffic which saves fuel cost, time, money, etc. Because of traffic, air is getting polluted. We can save earth atmosphere.
