Owner/s of the cows and calves are leaving them in Norton 2nd Street, Mandaveli every day. The exact location is just in front of Dr. Leelavathi Nursing Home, Norton 2nd street, Mandaveli, Chennai - 600028. This is causing a lot of issues including mosquito breeding, house flies, unhygienic road and foot path. The cows are usually tied to the street lamp post or left as it is. Nobody is feeding them nor taking care of them. It is a major health hazard for people living as mosquitos/house flies spread the flu/malaria/cholera/Dengue etc., Although, there is a heavy fine for leaving the cattle on the streets unattended, no one from the corporation seems to take any action, making us to suspect that there is a possibility collusion. Please arrange to take immediate action to remove the cows/calves.
