The roughly 3.4 km stretch on the dhaula kuan to punjabi bagh road between dhaula kuan and base hospital has recently seen a surge of street vendors (drinks and snacks).
They have all rights to earn a livelihood but they are not properly disposing off the garbage which they generate, rather a heap of garbage is slowly emerging along the walls near the road.
Instead of adding burden to the MCD workers, a firm guideline must be conveyed to those vendors about the proper disposal of the waste or more dustbins should be placed there along with the banners informing the consumers to throw the garbage in the bins. Was this information helpful? |
