The entrance of this posh residential colony of Sarita Vihar has a dreadful landmark. The garbage of the entire colony is dumped and overflows onto the road and around the gate of the entrance into Sarita Vihar, as one drives in from SV Metro station, on Mathura Road.
This is a mistake placing the garbage at the entrance of a colony. The garbage dhalao must be removed from here.

Updated by Publicum It has been several months after the monsoon, yet none of the potholes and deep craters from Sarita Vihar Metro Station on Mathura Road to the Modi Flyover have been filled up. What is shocking is that in front of CRRI are the worst potholes imaginable. Travelling daily on this route has caused serious damage to our cars.
Even the entrance into Sarita Vihar from the Metro station has deep craters which need to be repaired.
Cars slow down suddenly to go through the potholes or worse still, swerve violently to avoid them, causing problems for other vehicles on the road.

Updated by Publicum As one drives from the flyover of Sarita Vihar into the colony, at SV Metro station, there is a wide central verge with ugly construction on it, which is utilising much needed space. If this is dismantled, a beautiful entrance arch can be constructed, utilising very little of the road, thus giving visitors and residents wide road space into and exiting the colony.
Currently the narrow road is also being used by e-rickshaws and cycle rickshaws which further compound the problem.
The lighting at the entrance into the colony should also be improved with proper signage.
All the above problems should be addressed quickly.
