Municipal Corporation Of Faridabad — Sewage manhole water overflow

I am writing to formally report a serious sewage blockage and overflow issue in our locality. The details are as follows:

1. Location:
Lane opposite Subedar Colony, near KM Convent School, Adarsh Nagar-II, Ballabgarh, Faridabad – 121004.

2. Issue:
The sewage/drainage line in the lane has been blocked for the past several days(15-20 days), resulting in dirty sewage water overflowing onto the road.

3. Current Situation:

Sewage water is continuously accumulating on the road.

A strong foul smell is spreading throughout the area.

The stagnant water is creating highly unhygienic conditions.

Residents are facing difficulty and inconvenience while using the road.

4. Health & Safety Concern:
The stagnant sewage water is becoming a breeding ground for mosquitoes and harmful bacteria, creating a potential risk of infections and mosquito-borne diseases. This is particularly concerning for children and elderly residents.

5. Previous/Temporary Action:
Temporary efforts have not provided a permanent solution, and the blockage continues to persist and worsen.

6. Request for Urgent Action:
This matter requires immediate attention due to the sanitation and public health risk. I kindly request the concerned authorities to take necessary action at the earliest and restore proper drainage in the area.
