Subject: sewer water choking and leakage from last 6 months
Sir:
I am writing this letter to bring to your kind notice the issue of poor drainage and over flow of sewer water in our area, which causes much inconvenience to the residents from last 6 months. The problems of the residents have become exceedingly serious. The sewage water is flooded across entire society. The sewage water leakage spreading across more and more area without proper drainage system, on top of that recent rainfall causes more problems. The simple reason behind this flooding of our area roads is poor sewage drainage system and water leakage due to choking of sewage pipes & man holes. The problem is with the areas, where the drainage system has been faulty. The pwd or kda department’s inefficiency has been exposed.
The stagnated water has been causing serious health issues. Malaria, dengue, chikanguniya, apart from stink and travelling problems, and mishaps. As summer and monsoon season is approaching, the situation will become more serious and may cause epidemic in the area. We have written many letters requesting repairing of the drainage system. The apathy of the concerned department/officer is outrageously shocking. I appeal to your excellency to look into the matter and expedite the corrective and preventive measures for the affected residents. Looking forward to prompt action.
