Poor road condition in zirakpur is biggest hurdle in development of the zirakpur. People lives in beatiful costly houses/flat but when they come out from hte house/flat they feel they are living in the old poor village zirakpur.
This is to bring in your kind notice that repair work of zirakpur bhabat road and roads in shiva enclave is commenced in rainy season which results in water logging. One single road in repaired in phased manner and people are facing problem many times. If one road is repaired in one go in fast there will be less problems. Morever, the work is goning in very slow pace (Passed more than two months) which creating problem for commuters. No alernate road is left for the commuters. Roads condition is worst. There are pits and ditches on the road every where. No provision for water exit was made when the roads were constructed due to this roads deteriorate in short time. People from the victoria city, shiva enclave have to struggle hard while going to zirakpur and comming back.
Moreover, these pits provide breeding ground for the mosquitoes. Thus there is an outbreak of mosquitoes in the locality leading to the spread of malaria.
Besides, most of the street lights are out of order. For the last a few months the road has been almost impassable. We have made several complaints. But the road has been neglected for a long time. This road serves a large number of commuters in area of bhabat, nabha, astha, ansal, rivedale appratment. There is a lot of traffic along the road at any time of the day.
We, therefore, request you to kindly take necessary action to get repair the roads fastly, without break, within stipulated time.
