[Resolved]  My Green Energy — Deleberate delay in service to make warranty lapse

1. After much of sales persuasion - promise on performance & service by Mr.Murugaselvam of your company, I have purchased Inverter “ Home UPS Monaxy 800 VA “ with “ Okaya Tubular Battery 12V, 100 AH “ from your company for Rs.15, 000 vide Bill No : 32 Dt 20 /09/ 2012 with a written mention of warranty for 12 months for UPS and 24 months for Battery. 2. On 21/09/2012, your technician installed at our house as address mentioned above, and periodically your technician visited to check the performance and topping up the battery with distilled water. 3. Much to our surprise, this unit started malfunctioning from 31/08/2014. I made service request on 01/09/2014 and your service person Mr.Kuppusamy visited on 03/09/2014, checked and said Inverter is all right and battery has problem. After 5 days, on 09/09/2014, a person from Okaya visited, checked and said he will send someone to take battery to their workshop for further checking and no one turned up. 4. In the meantime, after frequent followup with your office staff Ms. Thavamani, your technician Mr.Kuppusamy visited and checked the unit and said Inverter developed some snag and was taken for repair on 25/09/2014. Inverter was reinstalled at my house on 01/10/2014 after a payment of Rs.1500 vide Bill No : 06 Dt 30/09/2014. 5. Now, the same problem persists and I keep complaining to Ms.Thavamani and Mr.Murugaselvam. Till date no action been taken from your end. 6. It is learned that due to faulty battery, the Inverter developed snag and got rectified by you, for which I paid Rs.1500. Your technician Mr.Kuppusamy and Okaya technician who visited on 09/09/2014 insisted on fault in battery. 7. I construe that, you have deliberately delayed the service of battery for whatsoever reason, so that its warranty of 24 months to elapse ( from 20/09/2014 ). 8. I earnestly request you to replace the battery at the earliest and make Inverter to put into use.
