Mycaptain — Complaint Regarding Denial of Refund Before Course Commencement

I am filing this complaint against MyCaptain for denying my refund request for three courses for which I paid ₹4000.

On 21 February 2026, I enrolled in three courses through a campaign that was conducted through our class CR and paid ₹4000. At the time of enrollment, I was not informed that the courses were strictly non-refundable. No clear refund policy was shared with me before payment.

The batch is scheduled to start in March 2026 and has not yet commenced. I have not attended any live sessions, accessed course materials, or availed any services from MyCaptain. After discussing with my parent and reviewing my university schedule (which ends at 5 PM, making it difficult to attend their 6 PM–9 PM sessions), I requested a refund before the batch start date.

However, I received an email stating that the courses are “non-refundable.”
Additionally, I am aware that another student was informed that refunds were possible upon inquiry, which indicates inconsistency in communication regarding their refund policy. The councellor who I was appointed to repeatedly delayed any response to my WhatsApp texts and calls and left me on seen for hours, my friend on the other hand who was told she'd get a refund is left hanging too after he said that he'll inform her by today after contacting with the support team.

Graphic Design

I hope there is a response to the refund as i immediately filed for the refund before 24 hours. I had high hopes from this institute but I'm greatly disappointed in their way of handling such issues.
