Nakoda Travels — unethical practices by travels company

Guys, please don't travel by nakoda travels for going anywhere. I had multiple experiences of their unethical practices. I am mentioning one of them below.

I booked ticket to go to my hometown (Sangli) from mumbai on redbus platform. My bus was at 9.40 pm on friday and tour operator was nakoda travels. I waited for around half hour and bus did not arrive. I called help line number on my redbus ticket but that phone was out of service. I also tried calling multiple phones on nakoda travel website but again no one picked up. I waited for bus for more than 1 hour and bus still did not come. Then i checked with local agents at the location and got contact number for mumbai nakoda travels person. Thankfully he picked up the call. He informed that bus is cancelled and nakoda travels informed redbus for the same. I told him that i was not informed and he said it is responsibility of redbus. (When i called redbus on next day, they said they were not informed by bus operator regarding cancellation.) i told him (Nakoda person) to arrange alternative for me and he declined. It was festive season, so i really struggled in order to find alternative bus to reach home. I had to pay twice the amount for which i booked the ticket and that too for a bus going to kolhapur and not sangli (My hometown). I had to again take bus from kolhapur to go to sangli.

The reason for all this frustration is nakoda travels and their fraud practices. When they find customer on adhoc-basis who is generally ready to pay more, they cancel ticket of person who has already booked in advance for lesser amount and inform that they are going to refund the money. These type of incidences have happened with some of my friends also and in all cases bus operator was nakoda travels. This practice has been going on for a quite a while now and these incidents majorly happen during festive seasons like diwali, dussehra etc. This is fraud and has to be stopped. Nakoda travels should also pay fine to all customers it has cheated over a period of time. I hope regulatory body for private bus transport takes action on nakoda travels for these fraud practices so that no other passenger has to go through the frustration through which i went!!
