I am a retired army officer. I purchased S-Cross car through CSD and delivery was taken through M/S Amar cars in Vadodara on 1 Jan 2016. The representative of M/S Amar Cars cheated me by collecting an exorbitant amount of Rs. 49, 084/- as registration charges. At the time of purchase when I asked for the break up of the amount of Rs. 49, 084/-, he informed me that more than Rs. 48, 000/- will be paid to the RTO and RTO receipt will be provided for the same. Whereas, after constant follow up for 2 months, the said RTO receipt was sent to me by courier on 10 Mar 2016 and it was noted that the receipt amount was only Rs. 40, 223/-. On questioning the dealer representative, initially he told me that they will provide me accessories worth Rs. 6, 000/- and for no reason they will keep my balance amount of Rs. 3, 000/- This meant that I need to compulsorily encash the excess paid amount by way of purchasing unnecessary accessories. I refused and now they have refused to refund my balance money. This is in violation of the Consumer Protection Act 1986. The dealer has been appointed by your company as your representative. The customer-Vendor relationship is with your company and the dealer has been able to cheat me because of the trust I had in Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. Please help me in getting my due refund immediately. Was this information helpful? |
