Nexa — problem faced during workshop service | |||
On 12th july 2018 i was facing problem with my baleno car . The steering wheel was slightly tighter on one side and car was not moving properly. So i called the nexa service center to pick the car . Next morning a driver came from the workshop and he took the car. On 14th of july when i called the workshop they told me that there were two problems in my car. 1) Ball joint bent 2) bent lower arm bracket. so It needs to be replaced. So i raised a claim, the survey person did his job on 16th and asked them to give the estimate but it took them three days to give an estimate to the surveyor. Work order was already given to the workshop but they did not start the work as they told me that they had no empty ramps available. on 21st they told me that they will start the job from today. later evening when i called to ask if my car was ready, they told me that they dont have a balljoint available in their stock and have sent a job order. "They already knew that in my car ball joint needs to be replaced but they did not put an order on prior basis." Then they told me on sunday (i.e. 22nd July) the material will arrive and you can take your car on monday morning. On Monday morning when i called them they told me that the material is still being unloaded from the truck. Later in the evening when i called them they told me your material did not arrive and will take around a month to come. So i decided to go to the workshop to pick my car the next morning. when i told them i am taking my car with me as you are uncapable of fixing my car they called their senior. He told me issues, that if you take the car there can be several other issues like your driver side tyre may get damaged and the material did not arrive due to transporter strike. " So if there was a transporter strike what were they unloading till monday morning but i didnt care to ask because all that was in my head was to take my car back".So i insisted in taking back my car. They told there supervisor to look for another baleno car in accidental whose ball joint is ok and replace it with mine. "I know this wasnt right but i wanted to see what they do" After that the supervisor told me that you can collect your car in the evening. Later in the evening when i called the supervisor, he told me that the owner of the other baleno(whose ball joint they were going to replace with mine) was here all day long and they couldnt replace it. They told me that they will replace it in the next morning. Next morning when i called the supervisor he said that the ball joint cant be replaced as the other car is in painting section and the owner will take the car today. I knew they were lying because if they cant replace a ball joint in ten days how could they fix an accidental car in two days but still i didnt question them .I just told them to send my car back as i am not coming there every day to pick my car. It is 27th today, it took them two days to send my car back. Now today when the driver came i saw my car. It was in the worst condition that i could imagine. The back bumper was damaged i have attached its picture. It had paan spits on the tyre of the car. So i called them back and told them that the driver who got it back might have met an accident, then the supervisor told me that no the bumper mark was there before he left so it might have gotten inside the workshop by some driver of the workshop. " totally irresponsible staff they just dont care about your car they knew about the damage still they didnt fix it before sending the car" he told me to send the car back with the driver and they will get it fixed.
