NIIT Complaints & Reviews

This is a purely unplanned course and NIIT is just leaching money by conducting this course. They take 1.8 Lakh and give 600 page books and conduct ONLINE classes on both Saturday 5 PM to 9.30 PM and Sunday 1 PM to 9.30 PM leaving no time for studying and leave alone spending time with family. The class times were not communicated properly and the staff in NIIT Imperia is not professional. Their focus is only on IFBI course. Once fee is paid (that too in 4 months) and the NIIT staff will not be reachable or approachable !!

NIIT is basicaslly spoiling IGNOU image; by just starting EMBA course without proper plan and thought process. AS we all know EMBA is a DEGREE COURSE but; we all need to respect organize the course delivery method and documentations. REQUEST PEOPLE TO THINK BEFORE TAKING THE COURSE...OR GIVE A GAP for few months and take full time or direct course from IGNOU or other reputed institue:

Bro I completely agree with u This NIIT people know nothing other than cheating and luring money from people. The course fee is 2 lacs and they want all the amount to be paid before completion of first semester. The course been conducted in completely haphazard manner. I would never recommend the course to anybody. Its sheer waste of time, energy and money. The course is not even worth of regular correspondence MBA conducted by IGNOU

I heard that they are going to start the second batch and I apprehend many more of our friends would fall in this trap laid by NIIT IMPERIA. God save them.

Seems like NIIT is recruiting DACOITS as trainers. HA HA HA

Interesting observations – but quite off the mark. Perhaps as the Term end exams are now on, a number of things may have got clear:  

1. It is not a “few classes” – it is 100% of the program taught.  Try doing it by yourself, and clear the University exams and you’ll see the critical difference...”Distance Edn is easy to get into, tough to clear on time...check with your friends as I did  and discover some stark facts!J
2. 3-4 hours a day is all of weekend?? And yes, a serious management program is never meant to be easy..
3. It was made clear to us repeatedly that text books are a supplement to the core teaching – and I have found that the class room teaching is very good. And where else would I get access to this range of very good faculty?
4. And vitally, this program that I have selected is an Executive MBA – and is globally sharper and tougher than an MBA meant for freshers...
5. I am very happy with the pressure, academic rigour and quality of faculty so far – could not have got it in one place anywhere else. I will be happy to say my CV that I was taught my some really famous professors from top institutes...it means a lot to me.

Will you feel different after 12 more months when you have your Degree in hand? I guess so...

Karthik, if you an employee of NIIT be frank in admitting you are one. When you say "Stark " facts be close to reality too !
- 3-4 hours a da is all of weekend ??? The students in the first batch had to take classes from 5.30 PM to 9.30 PM on Saturday and from 1.30 PM to 9.30 PM on sundays. This accounts for 12 hours of just classroom EVERY WEEKEND. Consider this to 6 days working professionals.. Are you trying to say this is just part of the rigor? I beg to differ Bro

- Text books and classroom suppliment-- did you try to write the term end exams by going thorugh the PPT s? I guess you havent written the exams then !!

- Term end exams are never conducted with schedules of working professionals in mind. Exams are conducted Monday to Saturday everyday without Break. How on earth do you think you will pass. for gods sake we are not full time students !!

- Another strange rules for this programme - ONLY Maximum of 8 exams can be written in a semester. Now if a back paper is there, you lost the chance of completing the course in 18 months as the program coordinators and NIIT is boasting about.
- Another interesting rule - you can write the exam of a subject maximum of three attempts and then, if you want to clear still you are liable to pay 1.8 lacs once again !!!

- Quality of faculty - Though I agree one or two were good, most of them were just reading the PPTs through and the quality was not that great for the cource fee you are paying. You can indeed debate on this, but fact is fact.

I still say go for MBA from ignou and not for NIIT MBA as NIIT is just making money by conducting a course which they dont have any investment. (they already have infrastructure for other courses which they mediate). they can spend on some faculty and then profit from somebody who joined the course. Apparantly NIIT started serving "tea/Coffee" for a PRICE now. Earlier it was stopeed citing "logistical reason" now all logics are falling into place when cost is coming to picture.
The centre staffs are not polite, approachable or reasonable 99 % of the time. You can see the difference when you are trying to enroll - they will be very pleasing personality, and once you enroll, they are like who are you? What ever you want, get in touch with Delhi and I dont know anything.!!! Crap
How can an organisation of this repute run

I appreciate those brave comrades that are trying to save NIIT's image here. But, the reality is that NIIT has succeeded at least in 1thing & i.e. duping our hard earned money. Following are the critical issues:-
* Illogical class schedule (At times we've to attend weekend classes aswell).
* Delay in results.
* Faculty has no idea what/where to teach as per IGNOU curriculam.
* Results are not available in time. (Ppl are suffering as the results of 1st sem are still not available and in 25 days 2nd sem exams are going to start. There are no grade cards available for those who have already cleared 1st sem.)
* Restriction of completing the course in 3yrs. with 3attempts per paper and 8 exams restriction per sem.
* No help for final project by NIIT.
* Communication failure/avoidance by NIIT after receiving the complete payment from students.
* Non-satisfactory replies for queries raised through portal (All in one ans:-Your query has been fwded to IGNOU. & the response never comes).
* Unreasonable fines imposed on students despite NIIT's fault.
* Non-availability of syllabus details despite constant reminders.
* Poor management and incompetent staff (specially duty manager).
* Lack of basic facilities.
* Course material is completely useless as per the exam questions.

Numerous other things that are actual reasons for not joining this program. Still, if someone wants to waste their money & time then plz...help urself. In the end you'll lose one thing for sure & that is ur trust towards this brand i.e NIIT IMPERIA.

I just have got a mail and call also from NIIT person stating that this EMBA degree will be given by IIM Lucknow. Suddenly I was surprised and thought of verifying reviews about it.

Can anyone suggest me, what is exactly about this course? How is it? Is it effective?

I have the same question that Niti has posted above... would be great if anyone has come across this and would picth in with some reviews.. I read the reviews above and must say I am dumb struck.. But one thing that still doesnt fit in is that, how come these resputed universities like IIML and IGNOU stand by NIIT even after all this? Wont their Imgae come down? or rather are they really involved?

Hello i am also agree with the these students. I am also in Niit i have paid the fee for the semester in which i was not then also when i came to that semester they are saying to pay the fee then only they will allow me to sit in the semester D mt1 exams.
Gniit couse is for 3 years and i am 5 year old student till now my course haven't completed i asked to degrade my Gniit to Aniit tfor this they say u have to first complete all the fee due for gniit then they will degrade me from gniit to aniit. and After degradation they will refund the balance amount as gniit cost more the aniit.
After all these drams i stopped going to niit. Till now things are not solved Things are very worse at this center no one is their to hear the complain when i asked for higher authority no or any complain no. they denied me to provide any no. Please help and I am sure i am not the only student who suffering from this problem approx 80% student of Niit suffering from same Issue. none of student have completed Gniit in given time If any one ask them why they will simply say student miss the classes and other excuses where the truth is here faculty are less. A student who complete any sem he/she have to wait for other student to come for next sem otherwise he/she also cant study for further teaching. During the student counseling they don't even mention these rules infact they say you will get the course timing to attend niit as per their choice for some day they provide after that they refuse to do so. Every promise they give are all false they cheat the students socially.

Hmm a Very Good approach for talking revenge from your faculties.
Guyss First of all let me clear you that this all is a fake created by some students who hav some personal problems with these faculties about which these faculties didnt knw before.
these all comments above are Passed by Shankar itself or his 2-3 friends who decided to make a fake blame on these faculties.
if any student is getting 94% and 84% and telling that his faculties are jealous thn you can visit our center to take a look tht many students hav got more than 94% also. Why a faculty will be jealous if her student does well in exams?
this all is a non-sense, i think shankar do not knw fully abt LAW coz if these faculties nd we the students of NIIT blame on his culprit then he will be behind bars very soon.
following is a line from his complain:
"With whose permission they upgraded me to a new semester code SMCR2 it should have been T1SMC but it is automatically upgraded how??"
Let me ask that how could he was able to knw abt data that was private and only accessible by NIIT staffs.
this may also be a routine work of his course like upgradation of semesters on completing one to another.
Sarla and Sangeetha as well as other faculties nd staffs at NIIT, Athwagate Surat are very very Charming and Good by nature.
If someone is making bad rumours abt them thn I think it is NIIT's duty to take a very strong action against that Person.

Nerul NIIT is a fraud place, I didn't believe that such a reputed institute like this would do such shameless thing, I was given so many assurance and commitment, i was told good things, but once all my cheques where paid they turned their faces, I took admission for java and i paid 28000 fees for it, The Trainer Anita is a fraud, she was the one who gave commitment, she use to teach only for 15 mins and use to go and do admin work and talk to new inquiries or practice her programming in other classroom. All classes where same accept the oracle class on sunday, the madam was nice. But since i paid my full amount why not Niit gave full service. My whole money was wasted. Their was no proper guidance, i was told to wait outside or talked in rudely manner. Guys dont take admission in this institute, its only big name but nothing in quality...

NIIT — Mentally Harrasment

I have taken admission in a institute for a computer course which have franchisee of NIIT ltd.I have paid one year fee in advance after
one and half year I just completed first semester of six months because of them. Now I want to get my second semester fee back But they are denying to refund .And according to there rules A person can apply for refund before the start of a semester.How can I get my money back?

I joined NIIT Ltd; Bhopal Centre, for VSXV2 course, which is for building enterprize applications using .net framework in Febuary 2008. They promised a course duration of 4 and a half months.
Now its August, i.e. about 7 months and they have not been able to complete even half of the course. While joining the course, I had planned this period for my MBA coaching, as I am in third year of my engineering now. But now I am finding myself into the viscious circle of the NIIT centre. Please tell me what can I do to get my fees back.

NIIT — delay in completing portin, louzy admin.

I joined NIIT in Apr. 2007 at Gkatkopar(e), Mumbai center. I joined for GNIIT and after 1 yr 3 mts they were thru with only one sem of 6 mts.
So I discontinued and applyed for refund. I submitted all doc. on time and now 3 mts hav passed and my process is still nt complete. They are literally avoiding me. There is a substantial amt of money that is to be refunded. This has bcom a real head ache.

Is this the condition with every NIIT Centers or is it with some particular ones?
When I visited one of the center in Navi Mumbai, I saw that the infrastructure is so poor, I can't explain.

NIIT — Not recieving the books

i m a student of niit in srilanka(bambalapitiya), niit branch manager wants us to pay the cash at the miidle of the quota for next quota.
and the reason is they want to get the books by appropriate time. but after paying earlier we thot we'll be getting the books at the start of the 2nd quota. but still we haven't . so bcoz of that they sometimes force us to go home,

Sir, i have failed in my tybcom exams so i doesnot know when my subjects will be cleared leniently i have worked hard for the exams and also done OOPS i.e Csharp exams leniently but i have failed in that exams being conducted by vashi niit, being a fresher from niit vashi, i does not have a deep knowledge of software, no recap lectures are being provided by navi mumbai branch of Vashi niit. Certainly i am new in this track and no friends also helps me so i remained alone. even in some branches of niit likewise panvel branch in their case recap lectures are being provided through regular basis, but hereincase of vashi niit such extra lectures are also not being conducted.so my parents are paying as much as money for such course but no such guidance is available from vashi niit. now due to this hectic pressure of bringing fees in time and certainly no help has resulted me to leave the niit institution by 30th November, 2008
In machine rooms of vashi niit no such individual attention is look after for each and every student.so please don't give your service like these, sure it will be a problem for parent's effort, this has created a panic in near future. because i have paid nearly 55000 fees but just have gone in vain! So take the lectures continously by taking extra efforts to do the fruitful things in your life.

I am totally agreeing with you all. This situation is not only in India but also in Sri Lanka. Because of the poor management in NIIT, most of the students are paying their fine with their lives. If the company (NIIT) gets money, they are satisfied; but they are not delivering the course properly. Actually some idiotic pressure is coming to faculties also. If the students are not paying, that pleasure is also coming on faculties. Here the top management thinks that the faculties are money making machines. Even the faculties are very talented, because of many (Management), they can’t deliver course properly. I have to say more but the time is not enough.

I am the father of Aarthi Sridharan a executive of Reserve bank of india who interacted with you and i am placing before you the following grievances in mail after our telephonic conversation.On
17.8.07, i paid an amount of 35, 094 and 3, 876 for the following courses at niit adyar (C++, JAVA, J2EE, ORACLE Gi SQL).
On the date of registration, the counsellor madam Mary Sindhu had taken xerox copies of my daughter's qualifications and enrolled her for the above said courses.She completed the above said courses as per the period stipulated by niit and she secured( C++ 72%, java 83%, j2ee 56%).I have the following grievances reg the placement thro' niit at this point of time.
1. While receiving the money and registration, why the counsellor has not perused the date of birth.
2. Why the creative head should state that we don't have enough niit ans and hence her placement would go thro' without any difficulty.
3. Madam bhanumathi who was the then placement incharge has taken a letter of extension for placement about 6 months back.
Do you mean to say that she also does not know the date of birth of my daughter .With what reason she has taken the letter .
4. Since my daughter was pursuing MBA we went for this extension and she even suggested that she can as well try for a management trainee post thro' your placement division.
5. After the expiry fo the extension date, initially there were lot of mess in niit, adyar reg the placement which i have already discussed with you over phone.
6. Reg the preliminary interview why at all the counsellor has detailed the proforma of the interview.If their intentions are very clear to fail the student why at all do you have a placement division.
7. The questions asked in the preliminary interview were not at all relevant to the subject to what she has studied.
8. Why a false hope has been given to us reg placement on admission .
9. I can emphatically say that none of your candidates do posess the qualifications of my daughter in this reg i am enclosing her CV for your perusal.
10. If the intentions are clear not to get her a placement, why should i have paid 38, 000.I feel i have been cheated.It is the duty of niit to ensure placement in a prudent way rather than giving a dismal answer.If the rules and regulations are unknown to your staff, what will be the status of the student who has paid 38, 000 and odd for the course.I don't think there is any justification in denying a placement for no fault o[censored]s.Further, we were advised by the co-ordinator that she might secure a placement for only 7000 rs/-.On the whole threir intentions are very clear that they have no interest in entertaining my daughter for a placement for no fault o[censored]s.
11. My question is if you are under my shoes, what is the stand that you would take .
12. I was given to understand my madam bhanumathi that the personla interview will only be a mock test and that the company would take care of the rest.When that is the case why they should have harassed my daughter and provided no placement thro' your placement cell.I feel injustice is done to me.
13. I think i have summarised many more details to you over telephone which i would like to narrate just in case you revert back to me.
14.I have even taken the pains of talking to you by telephone all the way from chennai spending so much money for no fault of mine.The entire mess is with your niit division, adyar.So, my concern has to be redressed right honestly and my daughter shoudl be given due merit without any harrassment and niit adyar should ensure placement in a reputed MNC befitting her qualification.In this context, you would have understood how much of agony i would hav eundergone at every stage from money to mental torture.The entire blame is on niit adyar and the answer remains with you.You have to view itseriously and ensure placement with a lucrative salary in a reputed concern.I hope you will revert back to me with a proper answer and for further interaction in this regard.

I had joined niit in August 2008. I had an exam in december 2008. The c++ course was supposed to be completed in 2 months time. It never got completed as the teacher left. I had paid Rs4000 and i got zero value education. I wanted a B.tch batch but even 9th class was there in the same class. They play with careers and they should play dearly for it. I could have failed. They should be penalised heavily.

This to bring in your notice, that I Shobha Rawat had joined for the course of INFOEDGE on dated 22nd October, but due to non-avialabilty of your Teacher my course was not completed.The course was around 3 Months.When i was done addmissionFormalities i allready claer thre lady December last i have joined my office tthat time they committed the course finshout earlier the time.But after spending2and half month the picture was same even i clearly told the lady ( Ms Divya, please treat me as a fasttrack line.that time i am having 2 months kids also, i adjusted every shift accoding them. 2and half month they change arount 7 teacher.Some of the time my shift in morning after two hour they people telling, we are not able arrage the teacher please come in evening time also and same picture evening also.

Even after continous verbal reminder to the center no action has been taken yet.Once again i am requesting you to please refund my money to me beccause as comitted by Center My course not was not complited.

Requset you to refund the money as soon as possible, otherwise i will be forced to move towards the consumer court.

I followed a VB.net Curtificate course (48 hours) From NIIT Sri Lanka (Gampaha Branch) in 2006
But I think that Teachers wasting Students money & time
His Name is “Dilum” he didn’t complete my course I have received 5 guide books for syllabus but he didn’t complete that.

After I followed a Diploma Programming course in NIBM Sri Lanka. Now I am working in Kuwait as a Creative Computer Programmer because of NIBM Institute.
I kindly request from you please take a action against to that Branch they are not capable to teach to the student they talking nonsense every time they are not care abut the syllabus.
Somehow finally they gave me the certificate without any practical/exam even without completing the syllabus.
What is Your Course Procedure?

NIIT — Refund amount not received from 3 years

I was student of NIIT Lajwanti Garden center. i had changed my center from lajwanti garden to Connought Place. At the time of transfer my refunded amount was due on NIIT Jalwanti Garden is Rs 4995. but i not recieved this amount till now. many times i visited this center but my problem is not solve.

this niit is just a bull ...i joined the niit rohtak centre somewhere in october for the 6 months course...and it has been 8months and my course is still pending...for which Dilip is saying that it will take 2 more months to complete...there is Mr.Jitender who himself comes 5-10 mins late in the class and then never let any student to come in the class if he or she is more then 10 mins late...i have my another class somewhere at 2 o clock which i finish at 3 and rush to the niit centre for 3 o clock class...i reached at 3:11 and according to Jitender it was 3:12 so he denied my entry the second time...and that too when he hasn't yet started his slides...they never bother who will help the student to complete the chapter which Jitender completes in one class...Dilip, Jitender and NIIT all r just the same what else...PLEASE NEVER EVER JOIN NIIT ITS BETTER TO GO AND COMMIT SUICIDE INSTEAD OF JOINING NIIT...

niit is a cheap instution bloody

i joined niit in velachery on july 2008 for .net course. this is june 2009. till now they didnt finish my course and the classes are not at regular times. The staff's are engaged with more classes at same times. So plz take some steps and help me to finish course in time.

Six months back i joined the Hardware and Networking course at Anna Nagar in Chennai ... till date i am not satisfied with the centre working around there cause when my class is not there, they don't seem to inform me about it ...all the way i got to come from my home just to get a answer " today you don't have class, come tomorrow". This has happened to me for about ten - twelve times and i think still its going to continue . So i request you to please try to solve my problem . I have no other way to go but just to request you cause at the start of my course the centre people used to call me daily, literally now they don't seem to care !!!

once upon a time i was going to the market suddenly it was started rainning.And i was getting wet then to save myself i

entered into niit's center2 rajpur road(dehradun) which lies on my way.someone came out and she asked me about myself, "any

problem".i told her mam i don't have any problem you don't see it was rainning thats why i am standing here, than she called

me inside by saying dear i have a wonderful offer for u and then i entered inside the office only because she was very

beautiful otherwise i never went inside(because i am very concious from all these people but her beauty was only the

reason )after that she offerred me a 6month course and promised me that you will definitely get job about a pakage of

3.5lakhs, and she saw me many fake photographs of microsoft and wipro employees and told me that they all placed through

niit.i was shocked.that time i was planning to do bca.but that whole night i was thinking about that short-term course which

seems like a shortcut way to get a success i was very confused i discussed with my parents and they also became very happy

and they thought that after this 6month course my son will work for microsoft or wipro.this type of misunderstanding was

created at home.
and on otherside that faculty of niit she was calling me daily since that day when we met and saying dear aditya wat u think

of comeon.then lastly after thinking a lot i was decided to do that course i thought she is also very interested in me with

this course i planned to proposed her also.lastly i deposited my fees and all.25jan2007 was my first day in niit.and i have

to impress that girl i purchased new clothes from the market and get my hair cut with cool funky look.next day when i went to

niit and say her hi she was look up to me and asking me yes wat happen who are u?i was shocked and dil ke armaan asuon me bhe

gaye.but my main aim was to do that course properly and get a good placement, i worked really hard in those days they already

took 1 year for completing that course and when i ask them for the placement they started giving me goli lambi-2.they told me

that if i upgrade my course that i will get reputed job which i can not get yet.than afterall i upgraded my course for one

and halfyear.and these lazy staff of niit took that course for three year.now until yet the course has not finished i

am totally frustrated.niit is responsiple to make my career worst.

NIIT — Bhavishya Jyoti Scolarship 2007 voucher not genterated yet

I had given the Bhavishya Jyoti Scolarship exam in 2007.I had recived a scolarship of Rs 6000.Till today my vocher has not been generated.Because of this the NIIT database shows me as a defaulter.I have not been able to give my NIIT cerfification exam because of this.Its been about a year since i completed my course.Still I have not been awarded any certificate to justify that i have completed my course.I am feed up of complaining about the voucher not being generated to my center office ie Chembur.

I have joined Niit jaynagar 4rth block bangalore in august 2009 for J2EE course, after the completion of the course i could not give the exam as i had to go to my native place urgently.i couldnt inform as there was no time for that.Now they are Showing their real face, when i went back to the institute they are talking rudely n telling that for giving the exam you have to again register in new batch and pay 550/- .Why should i again give money and register if my registration is still valid?just to write an exam.
I dont want to write the exam now but is this the way to treat the students who make the institute.
I want to ask that just after taking the money and registering the student is your(Niit) job is over??
I had done C, C++, , java Courses from various other Niit centers in the past and never faced any problem or such like this, but know i won't even advice anyone to join it.

I got admission for basic courses for my son, Shanu Soni in Oct 08 at NIIT, Hisar (Haryana). They called me more than 50 times for take admission even we was not interested to take admission and when I got admission They committed me to give classes on weekend and they said they will inform me after batches get ready. It is more than one year they didn’t any batch yet now. Then we contact them, they always say that they will inform us once batch will be started but no positive response from their side. Today I contacted them them they said they had no batched on weekend. I am unable to send me child in week days. Because he is in 10th class and has study pressure in week days. I had submitted 561 /- Rs at the time of admission. This is very small amount and no big fun for anyone. But I feel these guys making me fool and irritating. Today they refused to give batch on week end. They are not giving any solution. Even they are not refunding money. Even they are not ready to give contact details of higher authority of the center. They said that you can do whatever you want regarding this matter and But we can’t do any favour. They said we are biggest authority and you can’t claim anything. The person we had contacted is the counselor, Harsha. And Sunaina is the person who is ignoring my phones and if picked up the phone then never give the call to Harshsa. Even i talked with Mr shiv also and tried to meet him at NIIT, hisar. So i tried to call him contact no and niit hisar landline also. But no body picked up the phicked up phone even Mr. Shiv also not picked up my phone. NIIT has good reputation but they are spooling your image. What they can do for us regarding this matter. I hope you can understand my feeling and problem very well when some person is not responding me from a big time. Waiting for your positive response if any respoone nsible person is available..

I am kamya shah. I pursuing education from NIIT, Ahmedabad Syamal Cross Road Branch.
but they Closed the Branch without completing our course. They are not shifting us at another branch and when we call them they only informed us they we are arranging your classes. They closed classes on 14th Jan, 2010 but still they didn't complete their meetings.

i hv joined DDNT n C++ course. They did the same thing in C++ course. Their facuilty left the class in middle of mour course they stop our course till one and half month. Same thing happen in also DDNT. Our faculty left n for 3 weeks they didn't arrenge any faculty. We are very disappointed with NIIT. When i Join my class they promise to complete it in November but they didn't complete the half of Course yet. I am not satisfied with faculty or class.
I need the answer. I have my marriege in May. I have joined class because i need to work but i[censored] didn't complete your class how could i find my job?

i want my class to be completed in febmarch. and i need the answer when my class will be start again otherwise i need my money back. if this will not happen i will complaint against NIIT.

Reg: Mismanagement @NIIT Hauz Khas / certificate not issued

Sir,

I was registered under the complete java (Core + Advance java) program/course in July 2007 at NIIT Hauz Khas .It was 132 hours course .There has been a high degree of mismanagement on the part of NIIT Hauz Khas in providing well trained faculty in time and meeting the deadlines to complete the course in required time limit .I got only 10 to 15 classes. I had applied for refund .I had paid Rs. 12500 out of Rs. 17950 (Core + Advance java) but I received only cheque of Rs. 6105 after wasting my valuable time from July 2007 to Dec 2007.

I talked with the centre head “ he said that either i should take participation certificate or for original certificate of core java course i must paid the rest amount core java course fees and after that I could be appear in that exam. I paid the rest amount Rs. 2247 in 31/March/2008 and I was permitted to give only core java exam. I got 61 % score in that exam.

From may 2008 “ I had several talks with the management regarding my certificate and they always used to give false assurance by saying “ we are looking into this matter .and the case will be solved soon” but still my future is in darkness. Some times they said that they will send my certificate by speed post “ but till now I have not got anything . I called them many times. I live in Shastri Nagar and it takes 1:30 hours & 100 Rs (Traveling Expense) to reach there .I have gone there many times. They always said They are talking with their management .Now they denied to give my core java certificate .They said I would get only participation certificate .Till now three Centre Head has been changed at NIIT Hauz Khas.

This nonprofessional and untailored approach from NIIT management has lead to a great amount of discontentment and frustration.

Now either I should get my original core java certificate (not participation) or refund my entire fees taken by NIIT.

they said me about the class will start on 15th of jan and on 15th jan they said class start on 30th jan and on 30th jan they told me you have to go our hauz khas branch for classes and now in hauz khas branch faculty said batch has started and you have to wait for new batch. Today is 13th feb and i am still for my class the institute making fool of me they waist my one month please help me if NIIT is unable to give class then return my fee back.

I came to NIIT south extension center, New Delhi in August 2008 in directly second semester to complete my GNIIT (BSIM) program.
According to plan my course should have been completed now but NO I am still in forth semester and according the situation in center it will be completed by APRIL 2010.
The course is running late by 10 to 11 months.
After all when I was in third semester, there was no study, no classes and even the software what they teach was not working in their Machine room. I can say there was nothing at all in the third semester.
There is such a mismanagement, fraud and irresponsible activities that they are not liable to operate in India.
They are pushing back to the entire young generation in India.
They have pushed me back by 3 years and that only I can feel.
They have cheated me. have cheated my parents.
And the most important thing is that they have kicked on my dreams and all.

They say: ASIA'S BEST IT TRAINER

And I say : They are the worst IT trainer in the world.

It is better to stay computer illiterate that to join NIIT.
It is not the only case with me, wherever you go in India
to join NIIT, you will always find bad situation.

Yes, guys joining NIIT is the life's biggest mistake, I have enrolled for GNIIT course back in June2006 at NIIT(Churcgate) which is a 3 years course which includes 2 years of teaching and 1 year of PP (Professional Practice) which will be given by NIIT. As of today when more than 3 and a half years has been passed. Still the 2 years of course has not been completed. NIIT Management is worst. The Delayed has been happened coz there was no faculty to teach us, they left NIIT. So far i've been taught by almost by 7-8 faculty. The faculty always change so again and again you have to change yourself to get used to their way of teaching. When we ask them abt the delay and all the stuff they say we are sorry. But "Sorry doesn't make a deal man alive". When i came for admission with my father i was been given so many promises and a very persuasive talk. But today when i ask center head that my father want's to meet you and talk regarding the delay, she say she doesn't have the time to talk. I ask her to give me in writing she started yelling "You are no one to ask me to give you anything in writing". This is how they behave once you take the admission. Also When we pay late fees they charge us a very big fine of abt Rs 562 and they say its a rule, but where does the rule fly away when the course which was supposed to get completed within 3 years. Still after 3 and half years even a 2 years course has not been completed. We we are late we have to pay fine, if niit is late then they just say sorry and still continue to be the same. Also they change their rule anytime, which always against the student and which involves money. Like i said when i came for admission i was also been told that if you are not able to clear the exams in first attempt you will be allowed to give a free supplementary exams, But now they charge Rs 562 to appear for supplementary which according to me is another way of making income. If we tell them what we were been told at the time of taking admission they say its RULE RULE RULE...and its has been change. The Management behaves as if they are doing a BIG TIME FAVOR for keeping us in NIIT. Seriously man if ANYONE IS JOINING NIIT PLEASE PLEASE DON'T JOIN ITS WILL BE YOUR LIFE'S BIGGEST MISTAKE WHICH YOU WILL REGRET YOUR WHOLE LIFE. There are many alternative's you can go for if you wanna go into IT.

i joined gniit course in year 2006,but still(2010) i not completed my course ,it will get completed by next month.we requested for break for one month bcause of exams, they extended break period without our knowledge.

NIIT — Reembersement

I had given Rs.4000/- for the SCJP Registration at 16/09/2008 and its validity was 1 year to NIIT Center,Arora tower,MG Road,Pune, But when i asked for the SCJP Vouchers, even after chasing 4 months(Aug2009-Nov2009) i did not get it, So i choose to reemberse my money back. I filled the reimbersment form in Nov2009. Now From the last 5 months i am chasing for my money, But no positive response.

Most of the faculty don't even know what they are teaching. This is Jeevan S Shkear from Hunsur Taluk Mysore District, i have Joined Carrer edge course in Husur NIIT Center Paying 6300Rs in 2006 this course includes, Basice of MS office, internet, C++, RDMS, SQL and HTML. i was new to this field and i was not aware of any courses and joined i completed my course with the help of Mohan, Chandrashekar and Smitha(Faculity of NIIT) and this centre was maintained by Mr. Meer.now i am in Bangalore from past 2 years now i came to known that the things whichi learnt there is 0% compare to the Software which is related to that courses if i go through the text books which they provided non of the things are covered infor me.

I have joined NIIT Kankurgachi centre, kolkata for the course Oracle 9i Fundamental-II on 27/03/09 and paid the amount of Rs. 6,617.00 for the course vide receipt no. 5138. At the time of admission they asked for my preferable time and I told them that i have office from 10 am to 6 pm. and please refer me the time beyond the office period. They agreed and took my admission. The front office told me to wait for a month and within that period they would arrange the batch. But till today they couldn't able to arrange the class. Everytime when I went to the centre and asked to the Faculty head for the class, he always assured me to wait till next week. after few months, I went to centre Manager and inform him the same. He told me to contact with faculty head for the same. He assured me that he would inform the faculty head to take the immediate step regarding the same. But till we didn't get any class. On March'2010, as usual I went to centre for my class and got same answer from faculty head. He told me to wait till april'2010 and he assured me, he would arrange a class for me and gave me a call. But on 10th April, 2010 when I went to centre, found both the faculty head and centre manager is transferred. I returned home with no hope.

After 3 months, on July'2010 I went to centre again and mate with new centre manager. i told him the story. He told me that he would try to arrange a class for me and informed me soon. But till today I could not receive any call from centre.

Please advice me what should I do at this situation?

I am a student of niit Palakkad Centre. My name is Marjana Mubarak. Student ID S[protected]. I joined niit on 27-07-09 for GNIIT. Its a 6 semester course with course fee 1,17,000. I took an education loan from SBI Palakkad . First they gave many options in the syllabus, but later after receiving the fees they were acting so rigid that i have to study what they wanted. First SEM fee was 18752 paid on 05-10-09. It was supposed to finish within 6 months but they lagged it to 10 months and within that time itself they asked for 2nd sem fee. I paid Rs19413 on Feb 2nd 2010 , the actual sem fee. As per their promise i asked for a track change but they refused to grant that .And even asked for 15000 extra for track change which they mentioned earlier as for no cost. and we approached the center head regarding this issue. But he acted so weird and he also told harshly that its upto me whether to continue or not.Since i had not started with 2nd sem but paid the fees , so asked him for a refund. But he refuse to do so. We went to the centre many times asking for refund but he is not ready to give. As its a loan from bank am worried about its terms and conditions . So please help me getting my money back. [censored] this NIIT, they told me they will complete the core java programming in 6 months but its now almost 13months and still not completed...There is a faculty by name Srinivas() who is not at all interest in teaching and because of this, i almost lost my precious 7months of time and lost almost 20k, I complained about it to management but they didn't take any actions, NIIT management team are and they call themselves No.1 training centers....

NIIT — Request to return the fees

I joined NIIT at Mangalore for dot net programme and hardly attended a week of class(Only theory). The complete material has not reached me and i am not at all happy with the teaching and practical sessions. The faculty is of below standard and read the text contents in the class and do not guide in practicals at all.

I joined NIIT at beawer for dot net programme and hardly attended a week of class(Only theory). The complete material has not reached me and i am not at all happy with the teaching and practical sessions. The faculty is of below standard and read the text contents in the class and do not guide in practicals at all.
I have stopped attending the class and need the feeswhich i paid at the center.

I understand your problem. I suggest you to:

1) Take in WRITTEN EACH TIME on the letter head of the centre what ever they say.

2) Give them nearly 3 chances with WRITTEN proof each time .
3) Go to Consumer forum. I think the number is [protected]
4) Tell them that if they do not comply with what they have told, you will report this to the local news paper and cable channel.

5) Tell them that you will make personal complaint of Fraud against the person who has given in written since you have written proof.

I had registered for GNIIT course offered by NIIT Coimbatore(R.S puram) city center. But they are unable to start my batch even after 4 months.Initially they stated the reason o[censored]navailablity of students to start the batch even though we are seven people together.I had paid Rs. 5000 of initial amount, Before paying the amount they told they were providing SCJP for they intimated amount(8383) but after the booking of course they said they will provide only participation certificate from NIIT. Now I am doing my final year of engineering, so I can't start the classes anyway.So please, give me justice. I want refund only.

hai sir my name is madhubabu i am from hyderabad i have joined in NIIT (MEHDIPATNAM BRANCH) for dotnet vsxv4 .This course was of only 3 months duration i have joined in the month of April in 2010 but due to faculty inavailability in the institution they delayed till now and recently completed the course of MT2.

Please do not spoil your career by joining like these institutes who shows their brand but they will not keep upto that extent.

If you are joining see that branch is well organized or not and coporate office they need to take care of the branches and the students who are suffering and people who are not able to afford prices which they are joining for branding and getting nothing out of it. They simply think they will get placed after joining in branded one.

My name is Vikas, I enrolled in the NIIT for GNP course. They promised to start the class in two weeks, so I waited and went after two weeks; where I was not supposed to go because they said they will call me but I did not receive any calls. So I had to go and ask every time after two weeks of allotted time. But there was no response from the counselor and no proper time stated. So I kept on going until I got an answer, they started the class after a Month. After starting the class the Faculty member said 1st day would be just an intro class. I agreed as no one teaches on studies on the first day of SCHOOL. But he said he will start from next day on but no progress same thing 40 minutes class and then on the 3rd day he left the town with out informing. We cam and waited at the reception but no answer. We had to ask what happened. They said the Faculty went out of town and so the Network Administrator would take the class and he started teaching in Telugu, which I do not know. Every time I had to ask him WHAT IS IT? He has got a good knowledge but Language problem. So I decided to quit. I asked the Manager of the NIIT-Vizag to return back my money or transfer me to Delhi as I am planning to move there. But he said you have to complete your Foundation course Here in Vizag. I asked him when the classes hasn't yet then why should I complete and you do not have a good faculty to teach. But he denied to transfer and refused to my question. So I asked him to change the faculty but he said you're showing your Attitude. Now what kind of answer is that? I am simply not paying Rs.40000. so you can do what ever you want. No proper answer again and Shouted at me and said take your money and Leave. But let me tell you the people who do not know how to answer or deal with these kinds of issues then Even Don't want to study there. I asked him again to transfer me to Delhi because I am planning to get into some part time Job in Delhi which my Friend has arranged for me. He refused and gave the same answer and said it is a Rule. So asked him to show me where it is written. He refused again; another NO. And also was not talking to me. Another important thing is the Faculty is Outdated. He himself asks a question and gives out a wrong answer. He asked WHAT IS THE LATEST PROCESSOR IN THE MATKET? HE SAID CORE2DEO. Now that is owesome. Every kid knows what is the latest processor. It is a mobile world now and every next door guy knows what is happening in the world. Forget about it... I NEED MY MONEY BACK. I DON"T WANT TO STUDY WHERE STAFF IN NOT HAVING WELL KNOWLEDGE NEITHER SOFT SKILLS TO TALK AND GIVE WAY TO BUSINESS DEALS. The MANAGER CALLED MY PERSONAL WORK TO BE A ***BULL BUSINESS*** How great is that Institute Staff is using abusive language at Educational Institute and gets frustrated so fast without any reason. I NEED HELP AND MY MONEY BACK.

Hello Niit family, this is a great disappointment when I am writing this complaint.I enrolled myself for Win7-680 cert exam on 29th Oct 2014 from Salt lake center.I was told that after 3 days my voucher will be active and I can appear for the exam and schedule it.Now when I am trying to schedule and calling the person named Sumit he is giving every reason in the book and delaying it.I informed him it is very urgent for me to appear for exams but he is just telling this slot is not and that slot is not possible.The worst happened on 11th Nov when I called him, he spoke so rudely and loudly to me as if I am committing crime in asking for a date.Also he constantly spoke in regional language, I can't understand anything and then he hung up. It was very disappointing for me as I was a part of Niit.I did my B.Sc(IT) from Niit only but Camac Street Center.I never anticipated that a brand like Niit wil lose faith and trust by employing unprofessional people and making face of Niit.Sorry to say this would be end of journey with Niit now

I also want to tell everyone who sees this comment that NIIT Residency road is the best place for training and one of the supreme center for placements. All graduates waiting for placements rush to Residency road to join for course.

i[censored] have more than 60 percent then go... below 60 and ur willing to go to tech support its fine... else niit is not worth... marks u score in niit barley counts... in teaching i give 5/10...

Niit is one fake institue... Big cheaters, . They ate off complete money around 40k . I had joined for diploma in Software testing . They said it will get completed in 6 months but it dint. They dint had any testing tools. Lecturers are not good . There is 0% placement. I suggest everyone not to join NIIT and waste money.

While joining one female acts very sweet sweet and bluff so much that any one can fall for it. i was one of them. I was the student of niit, had taken diploma in software testing. Payed 40k but they were not teaching anything properly. They just show u the slides and its done. When requested for weekend classes, they speak rudely to you. NIIT shlould be banned. I suggest others not to join NIIT by mistake also. Only before few years niit was good but now its bad.

Worst institute ever. I am a B.E. IT graduate . Thought of joining a course for softwareTesting at niit Vijaynagar indore. paid half amount of the fees at the time of admission. after three days the class started and for some reason they started teaching us the basic c language instead of our job oriented testing Course. Within three days of the class the staff poked and forced five times to pay the remaining 13k amount for which i dint agree. For entire 1 month they wasted time teaching c and c++ Languages to an it graduate . again repeatedly forcing students to pay the entire amount. by not eveN giving one lecture for the required sw testing course.till date they have not told us the date on which actual sw testing classes will be started. And on top of that they are demanding for the entire 23k fees whereas at the start they told me to pay the amount in intallments. Offcourse its not the matter of money, its about the poor services and fake promises. The staff Over here is just Interested in fooling around students And grabing money. So plz beaware anD think beFore joining.
