We are students of NIIT syamal branch registered under name (Niit infotech (p)Ltd.) we joined NIIT in April 2007 and we were told that all our 6 semesters will be over in 3 years, but it has been 2 years and months and still we are stuck in 2nd Sem. We want to change our centre or else we want our fees back

Hi sir am a student of niit at Hyderabad. To say in perticularly am a student of niit( Shankar Math) branch of Hyderabad. i had joined niit for advanced java course and i had paid money of Rs 6617. The recipt no is 887 dated on 24th july 2009. The classes were going well for one week after that they suddenly called and told that they are closing the Shankar Math branch for some problem and told that they wil call and tel where to attend the classes further.

After that they didnt cal for futher 15 days. Scince i had time gap of 2 months i had joined only for advanced java.Then they told to attend clases at Bhasheer Bhag center. They didnt started classes for 0ne and half months.when i asked for refund they told to come and collect D.D after 15 days.Icalled them after 15 days they told to wait another 15 days. Again i went and asked on 29th of october they are telling to go to some other orgnisation to cpllect money. I went and asked there they are telling they dont have any connection with niit. So both of them are not responding properly. please help me out to take my money back.

I am enrolled in java course at NIIT At rd Floor, Crystal Arcade, Near Navrengpura Tele Exchange, C G Road, Ahmedabad, Gujarat 380009‎ .First of all they asked me pay the fees in advance which i did. They( there was a girl named Monica she is academic councilor there ) told me Course is going to start in 2 days, so I did pay the fees and than course did not got start for a month. literally month was wasted I am stuck with my money so they did start the so called course which was 2 days a week and still they taught me windows things for another month which i already knew. not to mention first 2 days are for introduction. than they taught me command prompt and so on.

Now after 3 months no updates and I have to leave back to home. So I requested there is noting taught yet in class I need my refund. so she said right away I may not get the refund even considering wasting my 2 month. I said I would like to talk to her manager.She said sure he will be back after 2 weeks (14 more days) so I was there to meet the manager of NIIT. Also came to know he has a another branch of NIIT in pune.

I asked Monica if I may talk to manager. Manger's office is visible from the from the front desk where I was standing. She went inside dont know what she said but than drama began Manager was showing his pictures to his kids and front desk girls for 30 minutes knowing I am waiting for him out side. He was giving me a look when I was out side of his office. than I asked another lady that I need to talk to him. After all this I was allowed to go in. that are the standards for customer service. An Absolute unprofessional way of dealing things.

Than he was so rude I told him that what all happened he told me once you have attended one class of NIIT we can not refund you money. It is not my problem. such a dumb head person behaved very rude to me as if it was my mistake to join NIIT more over they ate my 11,000 rupees too. No refunds for anything I dont want to study where I was disrespected in front of 10 people.

StilI am looking for my refund for more than 1 month and no answer yet. nor they teaching. they had 15 days of diwali break.


I made payment on 18 th of August classes started on October 12 ( excluding DOS and window which I learning I actual do supports for it. )nd still we are done with 3 chapters !!

I would like to follow up on this,,

Does students have to waste their money and time this way?

NIIT being such a widely operated educational institute , is expected to at-least have clear policies about
admissions and cancellations. And most importantly should give clear information about
the same at the time of admission, so that the person would think 10 times b4 going ahead with the admission.
I’m stuck into the cancellation situation due to inconvenience of timing. I waited a month for the convenient timing batch as I was promised. Then when I finally started it, just attended one half an hour session all by myself, with no instructor, going thru the ppt slides. Then had to go away for month and then personal situation became such that I wasn’t able to attend the course anymore.
My complaint is -
1) The counselor totally knew that I wouldn’t have taken the admission if I didn’t have the convenient timing, still they promised to make it work for me. That took a month.

2) Then I asked about the cancellation when I found that timing would be the problem, and I was told that its possible but would take some time. But then again I was convinced that the timing would be worked out, so I stayed and attended that single 30mins ppt session, while I didn’t even know that it would be considered as a formal class and no point of return.

3) At this point I should have been told that once I attend a single session I will not be eligible for cancellation, more so because they already knew that I was looking into the cancellation. But no such instruction was given at that point and I had no idea that this was it, now I have to be in.

4) I was told that this is a formal rule only when I asked about the cancellation again.
My point is if this is a rule, why isn’t it stated in written/print anywhere?
How can something that is told verbally, that too when its of no use, be considered as a rule?
There are lots of things about admission and payment rules printed on the receipt, then why not this rule?

5) If they processed my name into the system without giving me clear information about it, its not my fault. I know legality is on my side, rules are not valid unless they are on the paper.

6) Then my ’Going away’ application at that time says that ’I’m not able to attend the course at present. Hence I’ll continue after I’m back in the city.’ But I haven't attended any class after being away.

7) The center manager told me that the validity of the admission is 1 year but for me he can xtend it upto 3 yrs. Who knows what authority he has to do so? Again one more undocumented RULE!

8) When I asked for the contact number of the higher management, he refused to provide it.

"I have done ANIIT course from niit jayanagar in Bangalore. I took admission from malleshwaram branch as they have told me and convinced me that we will provide you 100% placement after course completion but they did't provided me any placement and I wasted my 60,000/- rupees.
If NIIT can't tell truth then how can any other institute will be true.
In my suggestion noone should join course just because of 100% placement but for knowlege.
Just make clear whereever you go whether they are giving assistance or guarantee.
Both are different things!! Guarantee can never be provided, if they say so then it is fake, believe me.
But NIIT will help you a lot that's true. Everything depends on your performance."

I am a student of NIIT.They are a fraud company.They are giving big big ads in TV and cheating students.We joined a course on C unix and ended up getting cheated by them.They dont teach us the subjects in syllabus
When we joined the promised us 100% placement.But now they have not placed even a single student.
Even Java/J2EE courses and other coures are also going in the way.They did not teach even half of the syllabus.They sent us back once they get students for the net batch.Also my friend who is doing networking course also have been sent back .They will wait till we pay the fees.Once we pay the fees they will sent us saying the course is over

i enlored for ccna in tilak road center on date of 05/08/2009 but my class suppose to start from same day but . the faculty was not come on time so i n all guies are waited for 1 hour's
later someone came and told us that u faculty is not comming today so u class would start from tomrrow onwards

In next day mean's 1st day of lecture ccna class started then faculty came to class she (Ms. Ritu)
started the slide on the projector n she finshed at least 40 to 45 pages of slide that know one is not able to understand . what was going on know one know's .. am i Be electronic student but also am not able to understand ...
I thought that may be i am not able to understand so i asked 2 to 5 student in the class they also told me same thing that they also not able to understand

we requested so many times to center that plz change our faculty (Ms. Ritu) but they neglected to out request
i finished my syllubs but am totaly blak in ccna
i wasted my moeny as well as my time to joine niit tilak road
i request to niit head staff that plz take action against tilak road
so that someone like me will not waste the moeny as well as time
now i joined to Karrox on JM road brach .....

My course duration is one year and i finshed it Two year..Now i am Graduate and pursing M.A i have one year Experiece in computer
i just want to say plz give me a sutable job for my experiece or my qulification

I would like to bring this into you kind attention that NIIT SmartServe Ltd. operating a BPO in Gurgaon are actually not following the laws under Labour Court. The ratio of work load versus employee strength is so poor that most of the employees are asked to extend their shifts or to come extra without any reiumbursment. If someone denies, they have a threat that job will be lost, because they will be fired. The best practice is that management claims that they do not have any clause for reiumbursment for overtime or coming for an extra day. They are actually exploiting their staff. The only reason people are living with the company because they are not able to find another job due to recession.

I was working with NIIT Hyderabad as a School Teacher under [protected]@School programme till December 2008. One fine day in January 2009 I was asked to stop coming to School by NIIT and my job was terminated. I did not get any 1 month notice which was agreed upon. Also, till now I have not got my salary for the month of December 2008. Upon repeated follow-ups with NIIT, I have been asked to wait and wait, and it has been almost 10 months now.

I want to know what can be done for this? Should I go to local consumer court or file a case with Police or hire an advocate and file a case ? Please advise.

I Miss Dhanashree Karekar from Pune had joined a course from NIIT institute Camp, Pune in the year 2007 for MIS course. When the NIIT institute had visited a seminar in our college had promised all the students that the students who had seeked 60% and above will get a scholarship of Rs.18,000 after joining the MIS course at their institute, but when i joined the course they turned back their promise and said they would offer the scholarship only and only if they get above 60% in each sem of the MIS course. When i joined i thought i would atleast get a job and support my family, the 2 sem was ok but from the 3rd sem the lectures were not taken, i had been told not to attend the exam by their stupid reasons and thereafter the lectures was never been taken and recently when i started taken action against it they told me to come to the class after a gap of so many months. I had taken a loan from bank of Rs.82k and the bank had already paid the amount to the institute. I am repaying it by doing a job. Now as i am doing a job i do not get time to attend the course also. I told them would you give me back my months of learning the course which had gone and now i can't attend the course as i am doing a job and can't spare my time for it. I want my fees back for such a fraudualent case it has lost the faith from the upcoming educational institutes also. My family condition is not to good to bear a loss of a big amount so will you pls help me regarding this matter asap.

I joined for the Orange course in the NIIT Kuvempunagar Mysore Branch(Karnataka, India) on receiving a call from their side, after we went to attend the orientation with a "Free" gift, they cheated my folks to join me to the Orange Course with them. Which included 2 Advanced Courses, 2 Basic Courses and English and Personality development for 2 people. I have only done one of the basic course and also one english course. Even the course that i have done, i have not learn't anything that is useful and even in the exam which is being conducted at the NIIT Centre, the teacher sat next to me and told me all the answers and "MADE" me pass. After this they have stopped contacting me and they have also moved their premises. I have spent 20,000 on this COURSE AND REGRET HAVING ATTENDED THAT CALL FROM NIIT CAUSING ME TO JOIN AND WASTE A LOT OF TIME AND MONEY, which unfortunately i wil not get back again. I hope NIIT BURNS IN HELL!! espicially the one in Mysore, Kuvempunagar(Karnataka, India)

This is a student who joined Java course in d month of july 27th.Initially we were assigned with a good faculty and we were told our batch timings would be 9am-1pm.but after 20days that person left NIIT.And des NIIT ppl dint schedule our batch with new faculty.later after 2 weeks we got a faculty and timings was changed to 12pm-3pm.again after 1week a new faculty was assigned,who teaches horribly.we were frustrated and we complained to assign us the 2nd faculty but dey r not responding.dey wasted almost one month of ours.they r spoiling our career.wen a batch was already der witout a faculty,dey hav started 2new batches.they'll respect u til u pay d fee.later dey treat u lik dogs.so its my sincere request plz don join NIIT,malleswaram,Bangalore.I don know abt other branches. "BEWARE OF NIIT".

Actually i had took admission in Niit-south Extension New Delhi in AUG 2008.I have scored 60% marks in 12th Examination. At the time of admissoin NIIT promised that I will get a discount of 10,000 because I have scored 60% marks in 12th. But till the date i haven't received any discount. I already had words with my faculty and center Head many times but every time i am asked to contact them later.
Being from a financially deprived family this discount means a lo to me. But Niit did'nt seems to bother any how.
Please Look into my issue and guied me accordingly.

I joined GNIIT course at NIIT jamshedpur in 2008. but after competing my 4 semester and graduation they r saying me that you are not eligible for the gniit because you dont have 60% marks in each semester.. they are taking 20 months fees and after that they are also taking 30k extra for the training. and when i completed my 4th sem from NIIT. they are giving me Advanced diploma cirtificate.. but i was enrolled for GNIIT. they are not providing me any placements. when i was joined niit they told me that they have 100% placements assurance..

sir,
i had registered for my GNIIT course in april 2005 and my course is not completed yet. Recently i have completed my 4th semester and now i don't want to continue this course in the future. i want my certificate upto 4th semester. but the NIIT Center-1 in bhopal, they are saying that i can't down grade my course and and i have to continue this course. If i will down grade this course then they will not provide me my ANIIT certificate. Sir now you tell me what to do?
Please sir help me. i am not the only person who is suffering from this problem there are many other students who are suffering from this.

STRICKLY TAKE SOME ACTION.

Dear Sir,

I am student of NIIT of CCNP (BSCN) batch in Tilak Road, PUNE. I joined this course on 18/07/2009. My receipt number is 6646 and the fees which I paid for this course is Rs. 19468.

I just want to inform you the wrong things which happens with me in this NIIT branch during course time as below:

1) When I came for admission, I clearly informed the institute coordinator that I have financial problem and I need a part time job with this course and they assure me that they will arrange an interview in IBM call centre for voice based job after admission in 15 to 20 days, but they had not followed there promises and not arranged any interview yet.
So still I am suffering from financial problems.

2) Another point is that, they promised me that, they will complete the course in 20 days in regular batch. I specially requested them for regular batch because of my financial problems and they promised me that they will start the regular batch in 3 to 4 days at the time of admission. Even they called me so many times for admission and informed me that regular batch is getting started soon, so instating me for admission. Because of this reason I had taken admission fees from my friend and taken admission for this course on 18/07/09
On the date of admission, institute coordinator informed me that, they will start the course from Monday and informed me accordingly.
But I didn't get any call from institute and when I called them on Monday to Mr. Milind, he even not talk with me properly and not informed me correctly about the start of batch.
Then finally they started batch from Saturday and told me to come for batch from Saturday at 11:00 AM
But when I came there at 11:00 AM, there is no faculty there for this batch and they have started class at 1:30 PM by another faculty and just conducted introduction of me.
And instead of regular batch they started weekend batch for me, but my admission is for regular batch and they are not ready for regular batch now.
They called me three times for weekend batch but not conducted any class which is really bad.
So they cheated with me like this.
As a institute like NIIT, I am excepting some standard from the institute, but there in no standard policies are there in this institute.
As per my thinking, NIIT is having his own standard policies and they are following that one.
But I faced so many problems in this institute, I get cheated so many times, which is really a bad thing.
Even the institute coordinator is not aware of the things like that, which batch is on what time, like small things, so it's really a shameful thing for institute like NIIT.

3) Now the another problem is about the faculty. The faculty is not teaching well, I am not getting anything. I informed so many times to institute coordinator, but they had not taken any action against this and continued with the same faculty.
So finally I get frustrated and asked them to return my admission fees.
But they are not ready to return my money and forcing me to continue the course with the same faculty which is really not a good thing.
Even I meet to NIIT head of PUNE, Mr. Sopan and he told me that I will get my admission fees back, but till now I didn't get any money back.

I talked with Mr Milind of Institute head about return of money because of faculty also due to batch schedule which is only on weekend instead of regular one.
But he clearly told me that, he will not return my admission fees to me and do whatever you want to do.
And also he is lying with me in each and every step, from admission to till now.
While admission time he told me that, the batch will be regular one but later on as there are no faculty for regular batch, he started weekend batch only, so totally layered with me.
Even I tried to meet to Ms. Sheetal, NIIT head, but securities not allowed me to meet to her and even not ready to informed me that at what time it is possible for me to meet her.
So I am not able to meet her, which is really a bad thing.

So as a student, I have a trust on NIIT and because of that reason only I joined in this branch of NIIT. But I get cheated in each and every step here.

Till now only one session is completed for this batch and already one month past and no progress yet.

I had taken admission through the reference of my friend and he told that Mr. Ramnand is a faculty there who is teaching very well. But when I joined the courses, they arranged another faculty Ms Ritu, which don't know anything and not teaching well, just reading the slights on projector, which can do anyone.
So I am excepting that the institute like NIIT should have a proper faculty which should teach well to students.

So please have a look into this issue and I am excepting that you should take a strict action against this branch and help me in getting my admission fees back as because of my financial problem it is not possible for me to continue course which in on weekend only.

I just went to this institute to enquire about GNIIT . The receptionist told me all about that and also the fee structure. According to her the total fee is 1, 20, 000. I told her thal I will later contact her. The very next day she called me and told me that there is discount and the total fee will be 100000. I again went there and told her that due to some financial problem I cant do . The registration fee is about 5500. But she told me that she would manage She also told me give whatever amount I can manage later deposit all so that I can avail the discount session. I have given 3000/ and told her if I could manage the rest amount. After 15 days there was no call came to me .I went again and told her that I dont want to do . You cut 500 rupees and return me the rest amount. But she denied to return telling me tha t she had registered me . When I told her to show the invoice she couldnt manage it, and showed some invoice of 5500 of other students but mine was not there then she said that come on next day . I again went there then she showed me a invoice which was created by herself through computer not by NIIT main branch which I had seen just day before . She told me those invoices are wrong.Please help me

I joined DOT NET course at July 2006, the course is only for 6 months.But me and my three of my friends are not given expected teaching. No proper classes are conducted for me since last 3 years. No proper and stable teaching staffs in adambakkam center. Not conducting exams also. Many students are suffering in that center without proper teaching and poor lab facilities...

I wish to take immediate action on this adambakkam NIIT center and do the needful to the students studying in that center.
