Nirmal LifeStyle — Booking cancellation not refunding the amount | |||||
I am a NRI resident of Singapore and have booked an appartment in Nirmal Lifestyle One Spirit E 2201 in the year 2012 and have paid a total sum of arround Rs 24, 50, 000 to Nirmal Lifestyle till date via NEFT and till date there is no progress on the apartment and not even single update from Nirmal Lifestyle on the property. I recently cancelled the booking and requested to repay the entire booking anount with all the necessary documents requested by Nirmal Lifestyle after several follow up Nirmal Lifestyle there is no update from their team and no amount refunded yet. Its almost 1 month and have made more than 10 calls and multiple email follow up. Nirmal Lifestyle is not even attending calls and the unprofessional receptionist has asked me to file complain and disconnected the call. Need resolution on this case as this seems to be case of false commitment on delivery and fraud of funds which is paid to them for the booking Was this information helpful? | |||||

My name is Sreejesh Ramachandran. I had booked a flat in Nirmal Lifestyle One Spirit 606/E, Mulund in 01/05/2015.I had paid an initial amount of Rs25, 04, 549. At the end of the year 2016, they informed me that the project has not yet started as they had planned and they had less funds to start the project.So I cancelled my booking on 13/01/2017 and returned all the original documents and kept photcopies with me.They promised me to repay my amount as Post Dated Cheques starting from the month of October-2017. I have been following Nirmal since October (now 3 months) and there is still no updates. They have not paid any amount, although 10 months have passed since my cancellation, on the plea that they do not have sufficient fund to repay my amount.
