Nokia India — Defective piece sold by Noika Dealer | |||
I purchased Nokia Lumia 535 phone on 28 March 2015 from M/s Samarth Lifestyle Retailing Pvt Ltd, authorised dealer of Nokia. On 6 April the display of the phone vanished and I was unable to use the phone. On 7th I contacted the dealer for replacement but he refised and directed me to the service center in sector 10 Noida. When I took the phone there I was told that the display is not working and the will not issue the DOA for replacement. They also told that since there is no supply of screen and there is shortage of spares it will take minimum of 25 days for repair. Through this complaint I would request Nokia to replace my handset as it was a defective piece sold to me, since THE HANDSET STOPPED WORKING WITHIN 8 DAYS OF PURCHASE. I also fail to understand what quality checks are done before sending the handsets to showrooms for sale. Kindly address my problem and let me know the action taken on my complaint.
