Nokia India — Escalated pricing | |||
10 jan 2013 i broke my screen of my Lumia 820, i enquired about the various customer care centers in New Delhi, i went to the Lajpat nagar center and asked them about the cost of changing the screen, i was told Rs. 8500, and 7 days time, i said it is too much they said price cannot be changed but they can do it by the evening, i said no the price is still too much they said they will do it in 30 min if i waited. I suspected something fishy ( the CSR was talking to the technician in a suspicious manner one could feel they are trying to trap a customer. I went of and went to another Nokia customer care in Kotla Mubarak pur near lodhi road, they again the same thing i was directed to the center manager, She again took my phone had a quick suspicious looking discussion with the technician and some other people and after some time quoted Rs. 6800 and a discount of Rs. 6700 i was shocked. Also to my surprise the center manager was trying to push me to take warranty for the phone. Although i got the phone serviced but the whole experience left me with a bitter experience.and cheated. Now i guess i need answers to the following questions 1. how can two company owned centers have different rates for the same service? 2. Isnt there a standard pricing for parts. 3. These customer service agents sitting should do service and not sales... 4. Why hide things from the customer. I have always had a Nokia phone and never had another phone than nokia.
