[Resolved]  Nokia India — Lumia 620 Warranty declined

Lumia 620 Phone, in warranty. Power switch started giving problem, used to work intermittently. Visit 1 - Took it to nokia care center, they took the phone, did something, and it worked problem resurfaced after a day. Visit 2 - Took it back to same nokia care center, they again took the phone, did something, it worked problem resurfaced after few more days Visit 3 - Took it back to same nokia care center, now they refused to take the phone, told us it was physical damage, someone has used feviquick type solution inside phone, warranty declined. new 620 costs 10, 000Rs. repair charges quoted 4000/- Rs. the only people who opened and repaired this phone are nokia care people, they repaired the phone twice free of cost under warranty. and now nokia claims there is physical damage ! Service Request Number #[protected] I know there are no hopes of getting help from nokia, at most we consumers can just write about our experiences so that other users are not fooled by such malpractices by big brand names. No wonder nokia was leader once, and is now struggling. Good phones, but really bad attitude towards customers

Locating a Nokia Care Centre (NCC) is very Easy !
SMS “NCC<space><City Name>” & send it to 55555, within few seconds you will receive the list of NCCs in that city.
Details, as requested above sent across to [protected]@nokia.com on 23rd January 2014.
Need to spread awareness about such false claims of providing 12 month manufacturing warranty that is of no use.
no point in paying a premium for buying better branded mobiles as the quality is as good as or maybe worse than that of cheap brands
No update beyond standard email from nokia that they will contact me.
as expected, I think this will go on and on
1 more week, No update ...
more than a month, offcourse this is a joke, nothing changed
