I purchased nokia 6.1 plus handset on 6th nov 2018 and it cost me rs.15999/- after 6 - 7 months from the date of purchase my phone start troubling with charging. I visited nokia care for the same and they told me that devices manufactured in 2018 have manufacturing defect in charging jack, i asked them to change it but it was out of stock and they told me to come next month. My phone was in switched off state for approx. 2 months they replaced in aug or sep 2019. Now, on 22nd april 2020 my handset got restarted and get hung on android logo, since then it’s on the same state. Today i visited the nokia care they said handsets motherboard got corrupted no alternate other than to change it. As my handset is out of warranty now so they asked me pay 80% cost of mrp i was shocked that this is highly unreasonable because this is an discontinued model if it would be in working state then it’s resale value is just rs.[protected]/- and they are asking approx. Rs. 13000/- to fix my phone. Also, they have inspected the entire phone and confirmed that there is no physical damage, they job – sheet’s copy with me but refused me help anyways. I thought nokia is a reliable company as earlier it was used to be but now it is highly dis-appointing from a prestigious company like manufacturing this kind of devices which not even worked for a year. Highly shameful!!!
I request you to take appropriate action, i'm not asking anything for mental & physical harassment that i need to steeped out in this pandemic life threatening situation but i want my handset to be fixed.
