Nokia India — Repair of Nokia 530 display screen under warranty | |||
I bought a Nokia Lumia 530 for my wife Mrs Padmavathy Raghavan on 04-10-14 from Nokia Priority Store, Aditya City Centre Indrapuram, Ghaziabad, (global Strategic Partners). Invoice No.1378 dt.[protected]. She went to Bangalore in the last week of December 2014 for attending a family function there. There the phone got hanged and she tried opening the handset to take out the battery and replacing it so that the phone is set right. In the process there is a little crack on the screen and the display is not working and the phone is non functional. My eldest son is under regular treatment from Metro Hospital, Noida. I need to be in regular touch with her. She has put her Sim in the old phone (X2-01) with an adapter and managing the show. To-day she went to the authorised Nokia service centre near Nokia Sector - 15 "Nokia Care" and the representative refused to rectify stating that this is not covered under warranty and we will have to pay Rs.3500/- I will be grateful if you could help us so that I can be in regular touch with my family.
