I bought nokia 8 on 14th oct 2017 from greatway trading co., chandigarh and one month ago its back camera started giving me problem as its back camera started vibrating and making photos blurred.
Since it was under warranty, i took it to sector 22 customer care service center where they told me that they need to make the os update as it might be the case. After they did it, it was still not working and asked me to keep my phone with them so that they can investigate it and depending upon it will order the defected product from the distributor without any substitute phone provided to me. After 2 weeks also they told me that they will be updating me regarding the status of the product but there was never a single call from there side. All the efforts were made from my side only as all calls were made by me and i even visited them with no luck and i decided not to proceed with them after getting harassed by those guys. Even there customer representatives were worst and didn't know how to deal with customer.
After that i took the phone to another service center i. E. Radha communications, phase-2, mohali on 17th august in a hope that they will help me out in this case. They investigated my phone and told me that its back camera needs to be replaced. They ruined my phone as they have removed the original pasting from the phone and gave me job sheet[protected]/180817/004 (Image attached) and its delivery date was on 22nd august 2018. There was no update from these guys as well. After calling them on 24th august, they told me that the camera is still under order and is not yet delivered. I told them i will be lodging a case against them in consumer court since they are harassing their customers. On 25th i again called them to get the update but there was no luck. He called me back and told me that there is nothing they can do as distributor is not sending the material and phone will get replaced. They told me to give the phone back to the retailer from where i originally bought it and asked them to replace it without giving me any written consent. I took the original bill along with device, box, charger and headphones to the retailer but they refused to replace it and told me that it is something needs to be done at customer center. Now i am very frustrated with this situation since they misguided me. My business has been affected since i was not having my phone with me and now after getting the phone from them the screen is also not fitted properly. I am attaching original bill, job sheet and picture of my device. I need immediate response on this otherwise i will be lodging the case against you and concerned people in consumer court.
