I have a OnePlus 8 Pro device and it had green line issue on the display after a major update from OnePlus. I contacted the OnePlus Customer Care on 21.12.2022 and they said that I can claim a free of cost display repair if there are no physical damage. So, I booked a repair on the OnePlus Care app and they picked up the device on 22.12.2022. Today, 30.12.2022, the OnePlus Service Center called me and asked for a total amount of Rs. 17, 000 for the display repair because my device is out of warranty. Then, I enquired this to the OnePlus Customer Care and they are now saying that the free display service is only for the OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8T, and not available for my device (OnePlus 8 Pro). I have the three call recordings and I need a free of cost display repair because the green line issue is caused by the update provided by OnePlus. Was this information helpful? |
