I purchased a OnePlus 6 on the official OnePlus website with an SBI debit card on 21st May and according to terms and conditions was supposed to receive my Rs 2000 cashback by 28th August.
I have contacted OnePlus numerous times and was told the following:
1) It takes 90 days to receive it
2) There has been a system error, you will receive it on 10th September
3) There has been a system error, you will receive it on 17th September
4) On 25th September - Have you checked your bank statement? Please email [protected]@oneplus.com with all your details.
5) On 12th October - On checking your details we can assure you that you will 100% receive it by 15th October.
6) On 15th October - You might get it by the end of the month.
OnePlus refuses to give commit to any deadline in writing for the simple reason that they are aware they will not uphold it. They will also not respond to emails other than to give the standard response of how "they understand our concern and appreciate our patience and understanding". They will also not give you a direct contact number if you need to get in touch with them. You are expected to chat with a new agent every single time, receive the same scripted responses, argue, and then finally get a phone call with some future date. All these conversations have exceeded half hour.
I would be really grateful if you could help me with my situation as this is harrassment.
