I booked a bus from Bangalore to Vijayawada with Orange Tours and Travels on 27.03.2024. The bus number I travelled in is AR025455 with service number OTT-1047. The bus was supposed to start from Marathahalli at 4:30 PM. They arrived an hour late and then proceeded to stall at the bus stop for another two hours and fifteen minutes. They kept claiming that they were waiting for a passenger. The staff left the bus during most of this duration because the passengers were getting irate. They offered no apologies or explanations.

Due to unavoidable situations like traffic issue, weather conditions etc vehicle had been delayed
And we would like to inform you that timings which are mentioned in the tickets are tentative timings bus may be delayed due to unavoidable circumstances
Any how as a good will gesture we have processed 20 percent cash refund to pax
We request pax to give us a single chance to serve better for next time

It was neither the bad weather nor the traffic conditions that caused this delay. Like I mentioned in my original complaint, your bus was sitting at the Marathahalli bus stop for 2 hours and 15 minutes. Your staff claimed they were waiting for passengers and refused to leave the bus stop despite many people complaining and urging them to get on with the journey. Your staff even left the bus and were walking around on the road for a long time since they didn't want to deal with angry passengers. This is a failure of your business management.
