I am an aggrieved customer of Orange Travels.
On Apr 6, 2023 I travelled via Orange Bus from Bangalore to Bombay (Ticket no.
[protected], the journey was a pleasant experience.
It is now 4 pm on Apr 10, 2023 and I have just boarded the Orange Bus from Bombay to Bangalore (Ticket no.[protected].
Even before Boarding I have been subjected to extreme harassment - details below:
1. Bus person (Banseraju [protected] ) started calling me from 2:47 PM and telling me to reach by 3:20 PM (even though the reporting time mentioned on Ticket states 10 min before departure time of 3:40 PM)
2. Bus reached BEFORE the villeParle (E) flyover ... both Bus Ticket and Bus Person clearly mention the boarding was to be done at "FLYOVER ENDING NEAR MEGHRAJ MARBLE SHOP BEST BUS STOP"... When I informed him that I would not be able to come to another location he was extremely rude and refused to co-operate, knowing well we had 2 ladies and 1 infant in the group- seat nose L13, L14, L15 and L16.
3. Boarding was a horrible experience:
A) Bus Driver refused to board my music system - asked us to purchase a ticket for it!! This is the very same system I carried with me on the Orange Bus on April 6. He demanded that I purchase a separate Ticket for it - we have 4 tickets and 3 pieces of check-in luggage.
B) Bus conductor next refused to allow the child strolley (same strolley was carried by Orange Travels on Apr 6)
C) Bus conductor came into Bus and asked for Rs 1000 for the music system. I refused to pay when I am having just 3 bags for 4 passengers.
I am sending you this email in detail, for you to retrain your staff on the basic etiquette on how to harsh the customer less. I would be awaiting your revert on the actions taken in this regard.
