I had recently travelled to Ongole from Hyderabad in Orange Tours and Travels on 3rd June 2022, night. Service is OTT 53.
My seat number G2 has upper berth ladder installed in such a way, practically entering for seats G1 and G2 is difficult, even when full pull up of front seat(F2). If front row seat F2 is pushed back fully, then G2 passenger feels suffocation. Added value add service by Orange Tours and Travels is that AC vents are not standing, they close. This is the basic quality check any bus operators should do. If not, then why do I paid for AC service?
After speaking to bus attendants, I understood there are complaints for this seat by passengers, but orange Tours and Travels have not fixed. That means bus operators doesn't care for passenger comfort and safety. In the event of any unfortunate emergency like fire breakout or accident, the passengers in these 2 seats are tapped. Though initially it looks like some inconvenience, after suffocation I understood the seriousness of inconvenience and lack of safety.
