[Resolved] Otech — harassment for paying money by advocate | |
Respected sir/madam My name is d. Geetha sri. I joined a part time captcha entry work from quikr. They said that i have to enter 10000 captcha within 10 days and 90% should be correct if not i have to pay 5000 rupees. They send me link for to download the app and then agreement. I had my doubts in the beginning because they were eager to register me and was agreed to give me 22500 rupees for captcha entry. I started working and about when 160 captchas was entered it would reset to zero and i called them and enquired about it. They said it was being recorded. Then i found that this was a fraud captcha entry and i blocked them. Now after 10 days they are messaging me and now advocate called and said they are going to file case against me or i have to pay 5000 rupees. If i didn't pay the money, they told me that they will send the notice to me that i have to pay nearly 1, 00000rs if i didn't pay before they said date. What should i do. I'm very afraid. Apr 1, 2019 Complaint marked as Resolved Never panic, I didn't pay single rupee to that fraud company. the consumer department has contacted me today morning and they talk to that fraud company and solved the problem by evening that they will never call u or message u if they message you, tell me the number of that company they said.
